PC "forgets" all my logins after each restart

After every restart my PC “forgets” all of my logins (including straight dope)

Any ideas?

What browser are you using? Check how cookies are handled - if you block them, the login info won’t be remembered.

What OS are you using also. On Solaris my login info disappears, but on Win 98 and XP it stays forever. (And I don’t expect anyone to debug a Solaris problem.)

MSIE with Windows 98.

I’ll check the cookies settings.

If you have softward that hides or erases your activities online, that can mess with your cookies too.

anyway, seriously, its cookie releated, and will probably be in Internet options, and security.
