Peanut Butter on original Triscuits

Damn triscuits always tasted too salty which, to me, clashed with my mild Sklippy PB.

Tried the low sodium Triscuits with PB and Bingo! Delicisio and no salty taste.

I like PB on the rosemary Triscuits. Yuuuum

I could get in that room, I think.

Coupla simple PB recipes to put out there tonight…

  1. “Scramble” an egg or two. The “” mean that if you can keep them in one connected mass, so much the better, but loose bits are fine too. Apply peanut butter to two pieces of bread. Slide that hot egg between the slices. Let the heat start melting the pb, enjoy. Mmmboy!

  2. In a saucepan on low heat, combine equal parts half-and-half, pb, and honey. Fondue, baby! Dip banana and apple slices, etc.

h boy!!!

Oh yum! Thanks for the ideas everyone. I like the triscuit idea and the rosemary triscuit idea sounds even better. I just got some freshly ground peanut butter from Whole Foods and was looking for ideas.

I’m thinking of rice cakes (mochi flavor) with peanut butter, marshmallow creme and sliced bananas for tonight’s snack.

I’d intended an O before the h. :smack:

While I haven’t tried the PB/Triscuit combo yet, I was able this weekend to re-discover something from my childhood.

The PB/Honey Sammich.

That reminds me, I haven’t a Fluffernutter in years!

I just had my first bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios. Good good good!!

EVER?? How did you live this long–those are a long-time favorite here.

oh yea, used to eat the PB/honey with sliced banana sandwiches when I was a kid. My aunt went so far as to put strawberries in there, too. Damn tasty
