It’s usually Boondocks that I don’t get.
What’s the deal?
I liked the one in Sunday’s paper (the 29th). It was indirectly poking fun at all the old comics in the paper that just refuse to give it up after repeating themselves for years and years.

I don’t usually get this comic, either, but I thought that was a good one. 
So who are Ross and Chandler?
Ross and Chandler are characters on “Friends.” I think the joke is simply that the pig is clueless about what’s going on outside his little bubble, so his letter is full of treacle that someone with real problems wouldn’t care about in a million years.
Specifically, someone fighting a guerrila war, since they’d probably have weightier matters on their mind. “Friends” itself is often used as an example of the banality of many American TV shows.
