Wolf Blitzer, i think its gotta be fake, but its a cool name anyways. Right up there with Max Power
John Wayne Bobbitt - no explanation needed
Graham Webb - like the hair products. I love that name.
I’m pretty sure it’s not. Reporters don’t do that very often.
I remembered it as Theresa Monteria, but it’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen the Carol Burnett show.
I’ve always had a fondness for the name of the Scottish explorer, Mungo Park. If I ever write a novel set in 19th-century Britain, I will have a character named after him.
Not a personal name, exactly, but in southern Maryland along Indian Head Highway, there are intersections with two roads called Livingston and Kirby. Whenever I drive down that way, I always think that Livingston Kirby (or Kirby Livingston) would be a great name for a soap opera heart-throb.
I had to admire a girl I knew in college - Lyric Stoner. Come on…who doesn’t want to hang out with Lyric Stoner?
“Lyric Stoner is throwing a party, want to go?”
“Hell yeah!”
Also Anastasia Beaverhausen cracks me up every time.
The four syllable first name, one syllable last name idea has merit. I have a one syllable last name so now I am trying to think of four syllable first names for future children. The name we had picked out for our last child would have worked if he had been a girl, but that name is getting too trendy so I don’t know if I would use it now.
I love the Doper name Thudlow Boink. Greatest name ever.
Speaking of explorers, how about Zebulon Pike?
Dick Armey. That’s not a name, that’s a punk band!
I can’t believe no one mentioned Jethro Tull.
… I won’t say it.
I absolutely love this name: Zooey Deschanel (Will Ferrell’s love interest in “Elf”)
I just like the way it rolls off the tongue!
I also think Joaquin Phoenix is a great name.
I knew a girl in college named Indira Grant. She was gorgeous and extremely cool. How could you not be with that name?
Oh! I forgot one of my favorites…Anouk Aimee.
I could just say it over and over!
Also, Astrid Gilberto (of “Girl From Ipanema” fame)…To die for
Kiki la Doucette
