I’ve tried asking this twice via e-mail, but haven’t gotten a response, so I thought I’d ask here.
My wife, Mrs. Cal (Pepper Mill) wants to log on and reply to the SDMB in her own name and voice. But she can’t. Even though I have logged off and she has apparently successfully) logged on, the SDMB won’t let her post. What am I doing wrong?
I looked up her registration, and it looks like Pepper Mill has never confirmed it by email. I emailed the password to her. Let me or TubaDiva know if you have further problems.

Good luck getting it sorted out. I’ve been waiting to hear from her on the boards for a while now.
Can you resend? I don’t know if she ever got it.
I sometimes post at the vBulletin site, and this problem has been reported on brand new email sites, because sometimes it takes a lot longer than it should (like a day) to become fully active.
I gather they can’t resend the Confirm message, but I think TubaDiva or Lynn should be able to make her status active directly in the database.
I don’t think so. First of all, a lot of stuff is only possible when one is physically present at the Reader server. I’m not, I’m in Fort Worth. I’ll look again, but it’s not something that I’ve ever done before. I think that I’d have to do a complete other workaround.
Cal, would you email me, and let me know your wife’s email address? I’ll compare it to what’s on record.
