I found Pepsi Blue at a rest stop on a turnpike. I had it, and was none too impressed with the flavor.
I was thinking to myself “This will die in the marketplace.”
Does anyone here like it?
I thought it was disgusting.
It was less disgusting over ice…not a very ringing endorsement.
The Pepsi man gave it to me, so I didn’t pay for it.
I have not seen it yet, but I’ve heard of its impending arrival. What exactly is it? A fruit-flavored Pepsi?
It was okay. Not outstanding. Nothing I’d go out of my way for by any means. I doubt it’ll last, although it probably has more staying power than Crystal Pepsi, because it doesn’t actually suck.

Pepsi Blue is disgusting. I’d rather drink Vanilla Coke.
I have a weird mixed opinion on this stuff. My first sip, I almost spit it out. Then after a few more sips of it, I kind of liked it, but by the end of the 20 oz bottle, I had had enough. I don’t think I wouldn’t buy a 12 pack of it or anything, but maybe a can once in a while.
dantheman, think slightly carbonated liquid Icee (the blue flavor) from K-mart. Kind of a blue raspberry flavor.
It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever voluntarily put in my mouth.
I couldn’t even drink it down to the top of the label.
Think of a batch of cotton candy. Now, melt it down and carbonate it, color it blue. yech.
Sounds mighty sugary. Weird thing is, why’d they pick blue? Pepsi bottles and cans are already blue, so that makes it that much harder to market the thing. And it sounds like it’s gonna need a lot o’ marketing, too. I mean at least Mountain Dew’s Code Red makes sense, since the Dew bottles are green. Humm…
Does it have any cola flavor at all? If not, why call it Pepsi? At least Vanilla Coke and Cherry Coke are flavors added to cola.
Maybe it’s just a brand-recognition thing.
It’s deserving of my most oxymornonic epithet, it’s powerfully lame. It’s not bad in the sense I had to spit it out but it’s utterly without merit. I can’t blame it for being the color of Windex[sup]TM[/SUP] since I drink soda the color of anti-freeze but the “Berry” flavor is so nondescript that I won’t be buying it again.
Tastes terrible, but it has a pretty good smell to lure you in.
I guess I’m the only one who absolutely loves the stuff…if she lets it sit for a day or two in the fridge, opened, but with the cap put mostly back on.
At that point, it loses the obnoxious amount of fizzy-ness, but still retains enough fizz to give it a distinct tingle. Thus, it tasts much like reeeeeeaaaaaalllllly good blue raspberry candy, or a cold melted icee. Both of which are extremely yum-some to me.
Off the shelf, though…it’s nasty. There’s too much fizz.

Well mix with 1 for 1 with pepsi.
it’s lightly carbinated and tastes like berry cola. And it has enough sugar to kill off a diabetic ward in the hospital.

It tastes like cola with a faint fake berry flavor in it. It would actually be good if they got rid of the cola part of the equation since I don’t like cola products. I was real hopeful going in but after drinking it I don’t like it. I wouldn’t go so far as to hate it. It just doesn’t have the magic number going for it to make me really like it.

It’s super-nasty. It’s got a sick smell and its just so…syrupy, or super-carbonated or something I cant really describe. I wouldn’t reccomend it to anyone.
I finally got to try it this weekend. It was the first time I’d seen it being sold in my town, so I just had to grab a bottle.
Not the biggest mistake of my life, but certainly not the wisest choice, either.
I guess if you’re about six or thereabouts, it’s heavenly. If you’re a tad older than that, it’s pretty rank. Too sweet, and unless my taste buds were tripping out, too fizzy. It seemed to be way fizzier than regular Pepsi, or any other carbonated drinks.
I’ll take:
- Vanilla Coke
or - Mountain Dew Code Red
any day. In that order.
