Tried it. Its horrible. We still don’t know for sure what the spice is, but I’m guessing ginger.
It’s cinnamon and nutmeg.
you following me?
Ah, well, I couldn’t taste the cinammon but nutmeg must suck, cause Holiday Spice does.
Pepsi gone bad it tastes like!
Nope… just bored and don’t have anything better to do that skim the board.
A bit overpowering, definitely not subtle enough. The cinnamon is pronounced. It’d be a good holiday mixer, though, maybe with some rum or whiskey.
I tried it… I found the more I drank it, the less I tasted the overpowering spices. By the end of the bottle, it just tasted like regular Pepsi to me.
After the first swig, it reminded me of those spiced gumdrops or jellybeans, Thrills Gum , or eating Vick’s Vapo Rub.
After the initial shock… eh. S’okay.
And they took my Cherry Pepsi off the shelves to stock this nasty stuff!!
Sounds disgusting! I wonder how long it is until they start sellling it here…
I picked up a twelve pack yesterday, because I’m a sucker for one-off holiday versions of food. I don’t usually drink Pepsi, but I found the soda rather pleasant. I’m going to try it heated up later on (sounds odd to heat soda, but it’s the best way to drink Vernors ginger ale in the winter).
I usually drink Diet Coke. Holiday Spice Pepsi just tasted like Pepsi to me. I was really disappointed–I like spiced drinks! I agree with devilsknew, though; it would make a great mixer. But, then, I guess Pepsi would, as well.
As a long-time Pepsi drinker, I drink the long-time spiced drink, Dr. Pepper.
I liked it, but agree that after a while, it looses it’s spice and tastes like regular Pepsi.
I am also in NJ- Where do you get the stuff?
I think it might be good mixed with a little Captain Morgan. So I need to go get some rum and a 2-liter bottle of soda.
