personal grooming (polite for "nose hair clippers")

I have reached that age where the hair is leaving my head and growing everywhere else. Since I also have a beard and mustache, the dang hairs from my nose stick out and tickle and drive me crazy no end. My beard trimmer worked OK, but the old one died and the new one I bought isn’t quite as effective on the nose hairs. Not to mention that the hairs seem to be getting longer, and well, hairier. Any recommendations?

And I apologize for those overly sensitive types who can’t handle the fact that some guys are just hairy.

This will solve all your problems & works great

If you are more of a back to nature type, instead of using an electric nose hair trimmer (as posted above), you might try using trained mice.

Muffin, your concern is noted.

astro, I had an inexpensive model similar to the linked one, and it didn’t do much, either no trimming or only pulling. That actually trims, right, no pulling or yanking?

I’m doing the runaway ear & nose hair thing bigtime. Nail scissors work fine for nose hairs since I can see what I’m doing in the mirror. They’ll reach in there about 1/2" if you’re patient. I’m still looking for a solution for ears. Suggestions?

Yes it works fine no snagging or pulling. Just keep a fresh AAA battery in it so the RPMs are high and the clipper can work properly It’s great for eyebrows and ears also.

So’s my hubby. Stiff black hairs are sticking out of places where no hair grew before, like high on his cheekbones. I use tweezers for those, and small nail scissors for his ears.

If I’m not around to help, he uses his nose-hair trimmer on his ears.

Anyone know why a single hair will grow through a mole? And so quickly too. One day there’s nothing, and next day it’s an inch long.

Perhaps TMI, but I pluck 'em out with a pair of pliers. I even once posted a thread about it.

Tweezerman Klipette

These have been recommended by several seniors of my acquaintance as the gold standard of nose and ear grooming.
