I’m voting for her mainly because I think she’s the best candidate out of everyone who’s run this time around. But I’d be lying if I said it also wasn’t because I wanted to keep Trump as far away from DC as humanly possible.
The main third-party candidate is shaping up to be the Libertarians. I suspect they’ll draw off Republicans who can’t abide Trump, and thus be a net positive for Hillary.
Depends on whether they buy things like the fluffy-clouds-and-unicorns front the Pubbies are trying to put up over Trump’s meetings yesterday, I guess.
You think Goldman Sachs paid her $675,000 for her investment advice? Of course not. They and 50 other banks paid her $11,000,000 for influence. She’s smart enough and been around long enough to not get caught doing anything illegal, but you have to be extraordinarily naive to not see what’s happening.
HRC isn’t going to be a good president, but as others have said, Trump is simply unthinkable as president.
No, I think Goldman Sachs paid her that money to show off how rich they are. How important. If some people think that GS purchased influence, well, so much the better, as far as GS is concerned.
Now there’s a creative explanation.
Clinton will do a better job than the entire Republican field, and George W. for that matter.
Does she have any platform planks that make me say “Yay Hillary?” No. In fact I’m concerned about her judgment and her tendency to shift into political operative mode before she shifts into leadership mode.
But I don’t think she’ll wreck the country. And I believe she’ll rebalance the federal judiciary as appropriate. Given the choices, I’m going with that.
Remember what California Treasurer Jesse Unruh said: “If you can’t eat their food, drink their booze, screw their women, take their money and then vote against them you’ve got no business being up here.”
