Trump scares the hell out of me. Hillary isn’t my favorite choice, and if the Republican choice didn’t scare me as bad as Trump does, I’d honestly probably just stay home. But I gotta do my small part to keep his fingers off the Button and his hands off the economy.
I’m hoping this election will make people see sense and the next one will feature Hillary vs. some Republican that isn’t a complete tire fire (can’t remember where I saw that but I like it). I’m tired of seeing people on both sides who are voting for their candidate not because they like them or their platform, but because they can’t stand the other one.
yet another scandle against the Clintons yields nada… if she is “crooked” she is better at being so than dozens of prosecutors and the entire republican machine (both political and media) is at catching her.
on top of all that, I actually believe Hillary does care about America and its people… she cares about her own image just as much of course…
So yeah, she may be “slick” but shes damn good at it and she seems to care. She has my vote.

Yea, I am basically voting against Trump. If Rubio were the GOP nominee, I’d be 50/50, because I do wanna punish Obama for his horrible foreign policy and divisiveness. But since we risk an isolationist and protectionist Trump, I’m most likely voting Hillary.

I’ve asked this of those who say Clinton is so corrupt. … "If she’s so corrupt why can’t you people catch her, indict her? She must be just too smart for you dumb asses. Admit it, she’s smarter than you and no matter how much you investigate… you always lose. You and your fellow publicans are just too stupid.
Yeah, but that’s not atypical. While I admit I voted for Obama–especially the first time, I mostly vote against in other elections. I look up what both guys stand for and choose the least bad option.
This isn’t anything against Clinton, other than to say that I consider the stuff I agree with her on to basically be the default. I vote against those who want to change that.
It’s just saying really bad stuff about Trump, as he actually has some positions I agree with.
Be funny if the Pubbies got their wish and somehow hounded Hillary out of the race. So, then, the Dems shrug and nominate Joe Biden. Lizzy Warren. Shit, way Trump is going, they could run Jane Fonda and win.
I’m definitely voting against Trump, not for Hillary. But will vote for Hillary just to keep that massive undeserving jerk out of office.
I’m not for Hillary though. Just one reason I am not for Hillary is because I don’t like her campaign donors, Lehman bros etc…
The other reason is because I live in New Zealand with single payer health care, and my understanding is Hillary is the one who wrote the healthcare policy to force people to go through insurance companies, so I feel like she must have done it for the money and backing of insurance companies, donations to her campaign etc… . I also feel since she wrote it to go through the insurance companies Americans have wound up with a really shitty healthcare system.
Those are the same donors Obama had. The big donors give to pretty much everyone because it is a cheap way to make sure they have at least some way in no matter who wins. This year, Trump may be the exception to that.
You are completely wrong about Hillary and the current US healthcare system. Obamacare is basically the GOP plan that was drawn up in response to Hillary’s plan in the 90s. The health insurance industry at the time hated Hillarycare and campaigned hard against it.
Clinton is just another in a long line of nigh-indistinguishable big party candidates. She is perfectly happy to be bought by big money, will not shake things up much in any direction, and has basically no moral sense beyond ‘don’t get caught’. I think she’s less charismatic and less ‘good’ than Obama, in practice mostly indistinguishable from bunches of other candidates and while not the devil incarnate, also not someone I would want to support.
OTOH, Donald Trump. His winning the election would be a disaster that would likely set the US back decades on a variety of social and economic issues. And quite possibly start some useless wars that make Iraq look like a short, pleasant stroll through the desert. While I respect people who vote third party because they don’t want to vote for her, I think it’s too risky with this election. So for me the only reason I’ll vote Hillary is to keep Trump out of office.
