I concur with both “amazing photo” and “wicked cool costume”. Not only did the costume deserve a prize, so did the picture!
Yea, so cool! And I love your gf’s toenail polish.
A three hour tour? You’re lucky you made it back!
IIRC Mac was just a quarter horse.
That’s her favorite summer color.
Am I the only one seeing a black and white photo, and one in which the rider appears to be wearing shoes?
No. I certainly didn’t see color. Starting to wonder if we’re being pranked or something.
I think they are referring to the color pictures on Oct 7 of the dogs on the pontoon boat. You can see kayaker’s girlfriend bare foot, with toenail polish, in one of those.
Ah! Yes, thanks, that would explain it. I hadn’t even noticed that there was a foot in that picture, let alone deduced who it was part of.

IIRC Mac was just a quarter horse.
“Just” a Quarter Horse? Sirrah, a QH is a marvelous horse! For example, my late, great Nick, and our last ride together:

Am I the only one seeing a black and white photo, and one in which the rider appears to be wearing shoes?

No. I certainly didn’t see color. Starting to wonder if we’re being pranked or something.
To be sure, I downloaded the image, loaded it up in ZPS, and boosted the saturation all the way.
There is no color at all in that image.
The file is a 3×8 .JPG, which could contain color, but it doesn’t. Just shades of grey.

IIRC Mac was just a quarter horse.
What was the other 3/4s?
That horse had remarkable conformation.
Thanks. And a remarkably kind disposition.
Here’s a conformation shot in his midteens. I lost him at age 23 because of a pasture accident.

I hadn’t even noticed that there was a foot in that picture, let alone deduced who it was part of.
Ha. I’m a detail noticer. Of course, that means I sometimes miss the big picture.
What a handsome horse. I’m sorry you lost him too soon.
Thanks. He had such a personality, even though he was euthanized in 2005, people who knew him still remember him fondly. I had a Morgan gelding for a couple of years, lost him to founder when he was 23. So when Ben’s 23rd birthday was approaching I kept warning him he was on the brink! And then he lived to be 30.
Here’s ahead shot of Commander, and a picture of him with Ben.

That horse had remarkable conformation.
I forgot to mention, Nick’s sire was a champion halter horse, way back before the overmuscled Impressive-breds dominated the halter classes. Lots of Shoemaker/Wiescamp breeding on Nick’s topline. Nick was foaled in 1982.
They certainly do look like well loved pets. I wanna pet their soft noses.
They were all well cared for, ye$$$$$, and they all enjoyed people schmoozing with them, especially children.

I hadn’t even noticed that there was a foot in that picture, let alone deduced who it was part of.
Heh, I thought I’d edited all of her out.
