He fell out shortly after the second pic. I doubt he learned anything, he thinks she is bigger than he is so of course he should fit wherever she does.
BG for those who don’t breathlessly await my every post and pet pic: George is a 22 lb Maine Coon. He lost his companion and we went to a shelter and a young cat came a purred at us. I was planning on naming her Bella but that little green eyed, red haired beauty just strutted into our house and stole both my men so of course I knew her name was Jolene. Jolene is now two years old and 9.3 lbs.
If you haven’t made an entry already for this month, this would be a lovely pic to enter into this month’s photo competition with the theme of “Eyes”. It’s a great pic of Ben and one of his beautiful eyes!
ETA: I see you’ve already posted an equally charming photo of one of your beautiful cats. Ben’s pic will have to wait for a Cherished Horse pic contest.
One of the cutest dogs evah. She (?) looks so comfortable and happy!
One of the great advantages of being a cat is that cats don’t care whether they’re fat, skinny, or inbetween. Whatever size a cat happens to be is The Right Size.
(Unless the skinny is due to not enough food, of course, in which case the cat will do something about it as soon as possible.)
Ah, here’s one of Stache, the wee stubby-legged old girl I adopted along with her brother Buster from my favorite rescue. They were midteens, in rough shape with more than one medical issue, and I wasn’t given much more than a year with either one, but I made it the best year of their lives.
My vet took one look at Stache on her first checkup and said “Do you realize your cat is a dwarf?”
Feeling frazzled from the summer heat? This should cool you off. Just look at that snowy backdrop on the deck outside, as Pumpkin shyly greets an inquisitive Sally.
