Now that I’ve (finally) figured out a way to get them off my phone and onto my computer, I can bore enchant you with more of them!

@Lucas_Jackson, your new kitty is just adorable! And Mollie, Chloé is always precious. Ollie would love the Treat Game, but he’d never stop looking for #4.

Oh, that last portrait is really lovely!

Aww, thanks.

He’s just so hard to photograph – never stops moving! Even if I hold a treat or a favored toy over his head, he starts jumping around. “Stay” is a command that lasts for about 2 seconds.

I could probably get some of him sleeping.

Well, disciplined or not, it sure looks like Ollie is living their best doggie-life! Thanks for sharing.

I’ve had so many dogs, and all of them were very well trained. I’ve never had one I couldn’t train and train well. I always took credit for my excellent dog-training skills. Until Ollie. Hah. Ha, ha. Hahaha!!

Ollie does what Ollie wants, and while he will obey if there is a food reward, it only sticks until the reward has passed his lips. Praise and fussing do nothing for him. He likes it… but not that much!

I think he’s pretty happy he’s got me trained.

I’ve mostly owned lizards, snakes and cats.

Trainability has never been much of an option, though my now-passed big Savanah Monitor would come to a clicker and tolerated a leash!

Which is about the same as ONE of my two cats! Who says mammals are smart?!

I kid, it’s not that the cats aren’t smart, but they’re cats, and exactly as you say, they look forward to training their “owners” and have no reasons to comply.

And snakes are dumber than a box of rocks. Silly things.

That sounds like one very special lizard!

Yeah, they are, mostly. Although I did have a lovely boa constrictor, name of Monty, who loved to twine himself around my waist while I vacuumed. He really seemed to enjoy it! But in general, I agree. And certainly not trainable.

Otto is still having trouble relaxing

Kasya tends to sleep on her back when she’s in my desk chair. I’ve never had a cat who did that before. I’d suspect it’s an orange thing, but Buddy doesn’t do that.

Here’s Kasya’s take on odd sleep positions (she had been asleep before I picked up my phone to take the picture):

The Adventures of Zebra-dog

This is a cat who lives in my house but doesn’t technically belong to me. Don’t worry, I’m not shipping him back! At least, not in that box.

I don’t think you’d better plan on shipping anything in that box. Looks to me like that box is taken.

I keep finding the bottom drawers of my dresser pulled out when I walk into my bedroom. And here’s why.

Good Golly! More Ollie!

My goodness, the ears need a drawer all by themselves.

My kneecap has been taken hostage.
