Pet pictures!

We had 13 inches in Jan 1985. Here’s the news story. We had a 3-day weekend and that was my only time off between the job I left on Friday and the new one I went to on Tuesday.

Well, opportunities like this are not to be wasted:

I never thought I would have to shovel snow again:

‘Luna! Go run in the unspoiled field so I can get some fantastic pictures!’
‘Fuck that noise. Where’s my warm bed?’

Imgur

‘Seriously, can we go in?’

Imgur

‘I mean… do you see this shit?’

Imgur

‘… sigh… At least you have shoes on, MFer.’

Imgur

‘Fine. I’ll lay down here.’

Imgur

‘I’m posing. You happy? We done yet?’

Imgur

‘I’ll let you know if anything changes, dipshit who can’t stay inside.’

Luna did not fall of the snow plow yesterday. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I like the cat sleeping on the dog crate!

Lol, that’s the dog.

Me and my dog on a snowy afternoon:

Luna likes to lick when she is getting belly scratches:

My pretty girl!

The hair on her feet is her down coat, the one which keeps her warm. Without her black overcoat, Luna would be a completely different looking dog!

Climbing dog!

–I’ve known a couple of those.

Luna leaps onto that thing, from a standing start. Just hunches down and springs herself up and forward.

I put the rug over the crate on her first night, thinking she would appreciate the relative quiet and solitude the wire mesh would not give. But within 2 minutes, she hopped up on the thing, turned around to look out the window, and laid down, looking at her new neighborhood. Kept it up there ever since and she only goes in the crate when being isolated (dog-wary visitors) or bathed (see pics above).

She did have to be integrated, that’s for sure. I think it was about 3 months before she barked/growled at someone approaching the house, which was a very positive sign for her development: it was then I knew she considered the house her home, and us as worth protecting/alarming.

So, apparently her resemblance to a wolf, which I noted previously (and meant as a great compliment) is entirely superficial!

Great warm-hearted title, and that first pic is the perfect embodiment of it!

Bob looks justifiably proud of himself in that last pic! What a bright, creative boy!

I LOVE Bonehenge. Keep the doggie pictures coming.

Bonehenge is awesome and is evidence for the dog=god arguments.

Yeah it’s my party go ahead and laugh if you want to. The Jimi experience

Fuzzy tail letting it all hang out, it’s Sullivan not Sylvester.

Completely missed Jimi & Sullivan! Beautiful kitties!

In, uh, not so great news for other felines, Luna treed her first cat today:

Onion (atop Annie) has no concept of size.

Poor Annie!

Luna had another skunk encounter last night… and stayed away! Good girl!

Today I took her out back during lunch and she just preferred to snuggle:

I know I keep repeating it, but Luna is just so totally adorable, in every possible way!

Rocket J. Squirrel would like you to know that it’s exhausting being a Very Good Cat all day and he deserves belly rubs.

I’d rub his belly but all that does is switch browser tabs, lol.

Ipad here so Rocket Squirrel got a good belly skritch. Made the screen pinch in and out so I hope he enjoyed it on his end. Very cute belly attached to a thoroughly adorable kitty.
