Who’s a good boy? Bobby is a good boy (and gorgeous).
This is Bob with my uncle’s dog Murray. Murray is a big baby. He’s afraid of Bob, but Bob has been gentle with him (after an initial semi-bruhaha). He’ll sidle up to Murray nice and slow and sniff his face and Murray will shy away. A little while ago, Murray was napping in front of the front door (a couple steps down from the kitchen) and Bob just laid down at the top of the stairs and hung out at a distance. This picture was right after Murray sprinted past Bob to get into the bedroom and Bob, without my telling him to, presented his ass to him and laid down.
It might take a few more days to get Murray with the program.
This is a late reply, as I just found this thread. But I want to say that Max is almost a twin to my dog Mauser. The only difference seems to be that Mauser is just a bit darker than Max. That face is a twin though.
Bobby is on the adventure of a doggy lifetime! The stories he’ll have to tell all the young pups when he’s old and retired!
Is Mauser all dachshund or mostly dachshund? Max is “mostly dachshund.”
Well, the vet calls him a dachshund, and the same vet called my first dog “mostly dachshund” I didn’t get him until he was five, so I have no provenance for his ancestry.

I got a dog dna test for a Christmas present, so we know his combo – rounded to 60% dachshund, 20% chihuahua, 10% shih tsu, 5% pekinese, and 5% miscellaneous terrier.
George is such a handsome boy. He must be very proud of his magnificent tail and pure white booties! I still say he looks like he’s dressed up for a formal dinner.

George is fastidious about his grooming, those feets are almost always pure white. He still does the sideways fluffy cat thing and his tail fluffs bigger than his body!
I got to meet a mountain dog in person last week. The expression on his face clearly showed he was indulging me by allowing me to rub his ears. Reminded me of a cat TBH

The Pixel 6 Pro phone has some excellent cameras. I used portrait mode to get a blurred background, but nothing special aside from that.
