Pet pictures!

On closer inspection, you appear to be correct. I withdraw my question.

Yeah, that’s his back foot. Dude was being a complete derp.

Delenn after being spayed, showing how much she loves her cone of shame.

I took it off for brief supervised periods to make it easier for her to get at her food dish, and found that she showed no inclination to mess with her stitches. Eventually, I took it off permanently, and everything worked out fine.

As of yesterday, stray kitten at work has a home! Just in time for the cold snap, too.
Resident cat has been told not to bring any more of his friends around; we’re all out of suckers here. :crossed_fingers:

Cheers for warm kitten with a home!

I suspect Resident Cat may not listen to instructions. Cats rarely do.

Looks like Iggy is in full armor and probably packin’ on the other side… Beware!!!

No kidding. He’s a terror. We harness him up when we go on walks because we are afraid he will slip a normal collar and attack someone. He inherited the worst traits of Chihuahua and Terrier - he’s very protective and very aggressive. Nobody (neither us or the professionals) have been able to break him of it.

Fortunately, he’s small…

I dunno–a friend has a chi/mini pin and he will puncture you. Sweet as hell until you touch him wrong…

So are you going to look at that sign, and/or at the full bowl? Or are you going to look at that face, and that entire hopeful expectant look of the body position? Isn’t it much better to look at Cat than at Sign?

Please say hello to Lucy:

Hello, Lucy!

Very cute!
What kind of dog? She looks a lot like our Iggy, who we think is probably a Chihuahua and Toy Fox Terrier mix.

That actually his “If i don’t get more, there’s gonna be Old Testament levels of wailing and gnashing of teeth.” look

Hello Lucy!

Oh my goodness, such precious ears!

Pit/Staffy/Chihuahua mix? Hi Lucy!

Thanks everyone for Lucy’s warm welcome!

As to breed, the vet will only venture “Terrier mix”. The shelter claimed “Min-Pin/Terrier mix”, but admitted they had no knowledge of her history – just a stray that was dropped off. The picture I posted is a little misleading, as there’s not much for size comparison. She’s really pretty tall and long-legged – leading us to wonder if there’s some greyhound or whippet genes somewhere. Even at 6 months she can stand on her hind legs and grab stuff from the countertops. Will try to post a few more pics later.

Gracie the Wonder Dog shuffled off this mortal coil a few months ago when we learned she had an aggressive cancer. We will forever grieve the loss.

Here’s Gracie in her prime as we will remember her:

Now we have a new dog, a puppy, really, at 10 months old. He is a handful. He was in a terrible situation – owner recently became couch-surfer homeless, she had 3 other dogs, he was regressing on housetraining due to lack of a set routine, etc. The day we picked him up, he’d had a McDonalds hamburger for dinner.

We know his parentage because the owner also owned his mother. His mother was a second generation Pug + Boston Terrier cross, and his father was a French Bulldog. We also met his sister, who looked completely different from him.

When we first got him, he had cherry eye (first pic). That got repaired when he was neutered.

I give you, Mu Shu Pancake

He looks like a handful. A big snuggly handful!
