Gotta love those wacky PETA people. They are now taking on good ole John Madden for his demolition of a turducken on Monday Night Football.
I was going to do a thread on how beer almost shot out of my nose when John Madden carved the turducken by hand, his hand, no knife just the hand. But this is sooooooo much better:
First of all I live in Philly, Eagles fans are anything but kindhearted, appalled is not a word to express the joy of watching Madden do something insane, I would use “Laughing like a hyena” it made my day, no make it my week.
Yeah that is going work real well, somehow I think the football players will prefer Madden’s 6 legged turkey over a “slab of soy”.
Oh the horror, we saw a crazy rather large happy football guy carve a turducken with his hand, granted Al Michaels looked horrified but maybe he is league with PETA. These people are completely fucking bonkers, I cannot wait to hear what Madden says on Thursday during the game.
Turducken? Lemme guess: An unholy hybrid of turkey, duck, and chicken, right? Either that or a cross between a turd and a… donley? No, that doesn’t sound right…
cuauhtemoc, a turducken, if I remember correctly is a chicken insided of a duck that’s inside of a turkey, all cooked together.
I could be wrong though.
I think Madden lost the Thanksgiving Day gig when he went to ABC. The games are Fox and NBC. That’s probably why he moved his turducken tradition to Monday night.
A Chicken in a duck in a turkey?!? That’s the fucking greatest concept I’ve ever heard! The only thing better would be if we could find an ostrich and bake the whole thing inside it.
The turducken looked yummy, but Madden using his bare hands (after describing the cutting sequence with the Telestrator, of course) was simply disturbing.
He did add that there’s a layer of stuffing between the chicken and duck, and between the duck and turkey, and that all are boneless.
What happened to the turkey with the 8 legs? Does ABC have a copyright on that?
PETA makes me happy. They are a little bit of non-complacency in an all to sensitive world. They used to have this billboard outside of where I lived. I did not agree with what it said, but it made me happy to see them sticking their ideals out there instead of namby-pampying to the public. Go PETA!
