Every so often (and more often than I like to imagine that I need), I get reminded to pay just tribute to those who deserve it. I would like to take this opportunity to pay that tribute to pldennison.
Yes, he can be acerbic and even vulgar. He is also most often correct, showing an impressive array of facts and marshalling them with sound reasoning. On the occasions when he is wrong, he admits it – something that cannot be said of many superficially more attractive people.
This is neither mundane nor pointless, IMHO, but the SDMB does not have an anti-Pit, so MPSIMS will have to do.
