It was fabulous.
I and Verrain had the ramen. We had to find out what eight-dollar ramen tasted like, and it’s light years away from the stuff you get eight-for-a-buck. It tasted like real chicken soup. If you put a matzo ball and some carrots in there, it could pass for my Aunt Mary’s soup, if my Aunt Mary had been Japanese.
I had the lobster salad, which came dressed as a lobster. It was very good, although a nasty headache had set in and I lost my appetite.
There was also much sushi, and Verrain had a seafood platter that smelled divine.
The booths changed color, so the whole effect was not unlike a disco. The disco effect was heightened by booming techo music.
The whole experience was wonderful, headache aside. The company, as always, was marvelous, and I think it’s safe to say that a good time was had by all.
Robin, who got to Central Philly via Bucks County, and if Airman gets wind of this, well, I know where some of you people sleep!
