Philly Dopefest in December! Let's do it!

Awwww! Now you’re making me cry. Sad, sad, so, so terribly sad. :frowning: Well, I’m sure there will be pictures.

I still have to grope Geobabe while I’m there. It’s #1 on my “to-do” list. Actually, Geobabe herself is #1 on my “to-do” list.

Hey hey hey!

What about Girl Wonder? Of course, I’d be happy to keep her entertained while you flirt with Geobabe but I’m just thinking about your health here. . .

Zap!

Actually, Zappo, Girl Wonder will only be able to pop in long enough for a meal, and perhaps a bit longer, before she has to go home to my archenemy, EvilHusband.

By the way, what area of town are we looking at? And what about sleeping arrangements?

I’ve been out of the loop for a bit, but I think Superdude has been raising a very important question. Where are we going to meet up? Bar? Resturant/Bar? It doesn’t matter to me where we meet I’m uber-flexable so I’ll leave the decision making to all ya’ll, if I get any ideas I’ll give you a heads up.

I thought we were meeting in someone’s backyard for a grill-out.

I am confused.

Um, pun, I think the cookout idea got shot down pretty quickly, it being December and all.

Esprix

Sssh! Everyone will want one! (Did I mention I’m becoming a San Diego tourguide?)

So, we’re still talking December 22, yes? I’m going to be cutting it awfully close…

Esprix

It appears the 22nd has been at least unofficially settled on. Everybody has to make sure they get their afternoon nap in so they’ll be able to stay up late to await the arrival of Santa Claus…er, I mean Esprix.

Oh, and who wants to volunteer to help me locate the coordinates of and kidnap Cartooniverse? I can’t possibly have a Dopefest without him. I would be despondent and possibly suicidal.

Oh, my…

<bouncy excitement> A Pennsylvania Dopefest?

In Philadelphia, the single most distant major city from me in the state? </bouncy excitement>

So…the question will be: Do I think I can brave the five-hour drive at the height of a Pennsylvania December into a very large city which I am unfamiliar with?

Um…put me down as a maybe, whoever’s doing the record-keeping. Hell, for the chance of meeting Esprix, I may just drive five hours in snow…

jayjay

“Damn. That means we will both be vying for the hand of fair Geobabe,” said Lex Zappo as he made a mental note to add kryptonite to the shopping list on the refrigerator door.

I don’t know what we’re actually doing, Supe. Once we get some logistics down and funky, I can give ya directions, though. . .

Zap!

Ooh, might we actually get that fistfight I’ve been trying to instigate at a Dopefest this time around? I just really think it’s not a proper Dopefest without a fistfight. Or something being set on fire. Your choice.

I volunteer to be Geobabe’s whipping boy

I’m not sure you realize what you’re getting yourself into there, son.

Just a note…Iggles are playing San Fran on Saturday the 22, so most sports bars are going to be packed. By the way, does anyone mind if I join? Being a newbie I figured it would be best to ask.

The more the merrier, Bixby! If you think you are ready for the weirdness that is a Dopefest, of course. Good point about the Eagles game. I’ll keep that in mind when looking for places.

I’m confused…why would the Eagles be playing on Saturday? Is it playoff time already?

Sometimes NFL games happen on Saturdays. Don’t worry your pretty little head about it; it’s just meant to confuse you.

And me . . . don’t forget me. I promise to flirt with you!
