And I was actually thinking about doing dim sum on Saturday, the 7th. So if those who aren’t up for doing something this week (Meros, it’s dim sum. And it’s right after your payday… come on, you know you wanna… plus, I’m counting on you to help me find a good place for dim sum ;)). I know I’ve talked to a few of the out of town Dopers that are thinking about coming up. It could be a real good time. Let me know what y’all think.
I’m out, regardless – I’ve been laid out flat with stomach flu for the last two and a half days and don’t anticipate consuming actual food again for at least another week.
On the other hand, I can type the words “consuming food” without wanting to hurl, so I guess I’m feeling better.

I’m in the midst of some terrible wicked cold my roommate decided to share with me (he also claims he got the cold from the mold on a piece of cardboard?). snifflesniffle In the hopes that I’ll be more lively, Friday is really better for us; though, I really do need to check with tdc when he wakes to this world.
On the other hand, I think I’m beyond the infectious stage…(trying to save things before noone wants to come out on Friday!)

Is the bi-weekly cycle readjusted now, or what? I’m heading back to Phila for the week, and was interested in knowing if Friday 6 or Friday 13 would be the plan. TP has my cell number-kindly advise. Danke :dubious:

Hey folks,
I’m back in Jersey for a coupla days, I’ll probably be here until Weds night or Thurs morning. We don’t have internet access at the new place yet, so moi is out of touch.
TP, she has her cell phone and would probably be tickled by a call, she’s probably pretty bored with out me to entertain her.
We sorta expect to be back in Jersey for the weekend of the 22nd, but I’m not sure. So, maybe we could make it for that one. (That should be the next one, right?)
We’ll be on the lookout for a good 'Doper meeting place. By July we should be able to offer some crash space, so 'yall don’t have to drive back the same night.

Bre’r Lappin, you don’t need to wait until after you turn 21. We have a few that are still under the age of legal drinking. While we usually go to a place that serves alcohol, we always go to a family-type restaurant that lets in those of any age. So come on out with us! I’m sure you’ll fit right in.
As for this week, I, for one, would like to do something. Verrain’s being taken out by the guys on Friday and Saturday night so I’m pretty much solo (though I think I am going to Newark, DE Saturday evening). As I’ve mentioned before, I thought about the possibility of Dim Sum on Saturday afternoon. I don’t have suggestions of a place/time, but I would definitely be up for any suggestions. Or, if a small group wants to get together, sadly sans twickster (I wonder if the two of us will ever get to the same Dope Dinner again. ;)), I’d be up for that.

So, now that the planner is back, what do you guys want to do?
You know my take on things. I have the “Biomed Summer Bash” to go to in the afternoon/evening for my dept’s graduating Seniors but I’m still up for going somewhere, just name the place and don’t expect me before 7. I might be plural (and I decided the proper pronunciation would be Meroses with a long “e” ) and will be able to say for certain on that matter by Thursday.
As far as where to go we could try for Eulogy again or maybe that place on 30th St…I can’t remember the name but I can check it out tomorrow afternoon since it’s about a block from work.
Bre’r Lappin, to second what TP said feel free to join us even though you are not yet of age. These guys are a great group and I’d hate to see you miss out because you think your age inhibits participation.
You can bite all you want TP but I know you well enough by now that I’ll bite back…the promise only goes to people I havent met yet.
The fact that you bite back is one of the reasons I like you so much. 
I’d be up for Eulogy, but to be honest, if I’ve gotta choose between the two, I’m REALLY up for Dim Sum. Of course, I’d also be ok with doing both.

Ha ! A Doper coming to my town ! Expect some strange goings on , TruePisces , as the college students will be in rare form before they go home for the summer. Don’t be surprised to see people hanging off balconies , stumbling around somewhat aimlessly , or pretending its a ‘Girls Gone Wild’ show. I love this place. Have fun !
