Are we going for this weekend or next weekend?
I saw it last night.
After some reflection I can say I love it even more than I love The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Granted, I’ve never seen Rocky live on stage.
But the writing was exquisite. There was humor, love, lust, pathos, singing. Some moments were genuinely sad. Other tragedies befell characters played in drag with thick Southern accents.

The Inqy review mentioned a Disneyesque musical number. This was brilliantly done. The first half is a marvellous recreation of the Lion King’s style. Then, the satyr (who IMHO look’s a little like Ron Jeremy) switches from the romance and kisses of a Disney to explicit sexuality and things get truly hillarious.
Call ahead for tickets as most shows sell out. Depending on when the performance is the cost is $10-30. It's festival seating so show up early to get a good spot.

As I’ve said, I’m up for something this weekend. It’s better than next weekend, honestly, because next weekend we have DaveW’s Rib Fest on Saturday and Verrain’s birthday with the family on Sunday, so going out Friday too might put me a bit on overload.
Of course, this Friday I’ll be sans Verrain since he’s going out with the guys, but still…
You know what? I’m going to make a decision. Too many waffles around here. Friday night, Eulogy. 7pm. Anyone that wants to be there, let me know. I’m not making reservations, we’ll just meet. And Saturday, I want to do Dim Sum. Someone else come up with the place, I say the time is noon.
There. Decision. 
Sounds god to me…I’ll be there thought a bit after 7 save a seat for me.
Ok, who else is in? Please tell me I don’t have to spend an evening alone with Meros. Oh, the horror!

Could we start getting together at eachother’s homes? We could watch weird films from other’s collections, play games, solve puzzles, etc.

Though I can't figure out why it's classed as a comedy or gets such a mild review. After first watching it, it took me 15 minutes to decide whether it was a twisted piece of bizzare crap or one of the greatest films I'd ever seen.
I've also got Talisman(just the basic box. No expansion sets) and The Awful Green Things From Outer Space.
I'm sure the rest of you have fascing stuff of your own to share.I’d be up for that some time. I’d mentioned something somewhere (maybe my LJ) about doing a Games Day at our place some time. Plenty of room (2 bed, 2 bath apartment). The only problem is that our weekends are booked for the next month. Friday nights are a <i>little</i> clearer, but not completely. Any night during the week would work for us.
We’ve got tons of games here as well. Trivial Pursuit, Loaded Questions, Kill Doctor Lucky, Fluxx… just to name a few. So, when would people be up for this?
