Pick a fictional character and tell us how they vote.

(I never played the 4th one) Wouldn’t he know that his vote doesn’t count thanks to Lalilulelo? So why bother?

Two-Face flips a coin in the voting both.
Captain America is definitely a Democrat, so is Spider-Man.
Anakin Skywalker - Republican.
Obi-Wan and Yoda - Democrats.

Princess Leia is a Republican.

So basically William Jennings Bryant v. 2?

She’s very reminiscent of the Kennedys so I’d say a rich Democrat.

Nah, she’s a royalist – definitely Republican. Not like one of the crazies today, more like an Eisenhower Republican.

Ok, but you know that the definition of lowercase r “republican” is the antithesis of a royalist?*

Sounds about right though, not exactly a weak monarch, but not without democratic reform. All will be fine until the people find out how much she’s spending from the royal coffers on hair-cinnamon bun work.

*Unless you’re one of those far-right/far-left people on the internet who bemoans/celebrates your belief that the US “is not a democracy,” confusing that term with “direct democracy” and republic with “representative democracy.”

Also, she’s not one of Nixon’s “cloth coat” Republicans. I can’t recall which Republican represented the fur coat Republicans. Mind you, I’m talking about dress code now, more an issue of elitism than right or left.

Locutus of Borg; voting is irrelavent, you will be assimilated

Dr. Heinz Doofenschmirtz; Builds a “Vote for Heinz-Inator”, it works… Sort of…the next president is a bottle of Heinz ketchup

Scorpius (Farscape); definitely a Bush/Cheney republican

Captain America is conservative, but still votes Democrat in memory of FDR.

Nick Fury votes Republican because he’s strong on defense.

The Hulk votes Green.

Green Lantern votes Republican.

Green Arrow votes Socialist.

Harry Potter votes Labour.

Hermione votes LibDem.

Ron Weasely is just vaguely aware that muggles have elections.

Joe Leaphorn says “fuck the white man his election bullshit”.

Guess you have a good point there. We’ll put Snake down as “disenfranchised.”

Eh. New York Republicans are very different from those outside of the Northeast, and tend to be pretty liberal even for that region. I have no gripe with them, except that they tend to endorse crazier republicans elsewhere.

I feel the same way about southern Democrats.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex in Jurassic Park was a total DINO.

Born and raised in Texas, conservative, religious, traditional, strong ‘family values’ includes several close friends of mine. None of them have any problems with Teh Gay. Conservatism holds a really big umbrella, and even where they’re concerned about the ‘decay of moral fabric’ they tend to also love their neighbors. One has a very gay brother and they all have gay friends who they love, honor, and cherish. It takes all sorts to make a world.

I was reading an article somewhere where they were discussing Superman’s immigration status. I think the determination was that an abandoned child found in the US is deemed to be a US citizen unless proof is found before the child turns 18 (I’m not sure if the proof has to be presented to a court or INS to ‘count’). If the child turns 18 and proof is later found of foreign birth, he is still deemed a citizen because it’s too late now. Arguably, you might also also make the case that the spaceship he was sent in was an artificial birthing chamber and therefore he was actually “born” on US soil as he came out of the ship only after it landed in Kansas.

The born-on-US-soil bit was definitely true in the Byrne revamp.

What do you mean lost?! I think the US comes out a net winner in that situation, so long as she never reverts back to Robin Sparkles.

Also, technically, she has dual citizenship with Canada. That way, she could rob a liquor store while still saying sorry when someone bumps into her.
Also, she’s scared of the dark.
Ok, she’s not scared of the dark…she doesn’t like it, but who does?

Seasons 1-10 Ned fits this, but in later seasons the writers turned Ned into your typical “God hate fags,” “teach creationism in school,” etc… style-Christian.
