Which fictional characters would vote for Trump?

Saw this on Twitter and thought it was funny. Which fictional characters (any medium) would vote for Trump? No villains. Explain your answer.

I 100% reckon Fox Mulder would vote for Trump. He’d be all about that Q-Anon deep state stuff.

I dunno. When he looked at that picture of George W. Bush in the second X-files movie, he kind of reacted weird(they even played the x-files theme for a second).
Certainly the following would:

Larry the Cable Guy

Frank Burns

Charles Winchester <–probably not after the war, though

Archie Bunker

George and Lucille Bluth

Jack Donaghy

Alex Keaton

Oh, I found the clip from X-files and it isn’t quite what I remember.

I disagree, even Charles before being softened/enlightened by the war would’ve considered DJT too vulgar. He’d have not voted, and he’d make a point of mentioning not voting to show his disdain.

That Mulder clip looks like it was filmed in a fictional U.S. Attorney’s Office which is always adorned with a large portrait the current occupant of the Oval Office. It’s always a kick in the teeth to visit the “Justice Department” and be greeted in this incongruous way.

My nomination for a likely fictional Trump voter is Patrick Bateman of American Psycho.
I quote the following description because I could not improve upon it:

“He’s a shallow, narcissistic, greedy investment banker, and also a racist, a misogynist, an anti-Semite and a homophobe, and also a sadist and a murderer and a cannibal and Huey Lewis devotee. He is also weirdly pathetic. Can’t really get any worse than that as a person—but as a character, he’s endlessly entertaining.”

Probably Mac Taylor (CSI NY), Jack Bauer, Tony Stark, Kate Beckett, Ned Flanders, DA Arthur Branch (L&O) (but definitely not Schiff nor McCoy), Captain Gregson (Elementary), everyone on NCIS, JAG, The Unit, FBI (including OA) , Chicago PD, and most likely everyone with the last name Reagan in Blue Bloods especially Frank and Danny.

They’re all law and order types or military types that think trump’s the kind of president that will let them just do their jobs without namby-pamby interference from the libruls, who coddle criminals and handcuff the police/military from doing what they need to do to get rid of the “bad guys”.

They’re everywhere!

Mr. and Mrs. Drysdale from Beverly Hillbillies. I think Jed, Granny and Elly Mae would have voted for Clinton because she’s from Arkansas, but Jethro would have voted for Trump.

I think the Howes from Gilligan’s Island would have been Romney supporters, but it depends on how their stocks did during the election. Ginger would probably have voted for Trump because she was in one of his beauty pageants and got to sleep with him.

I think Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation would have been the only character to vote for Trump, mainly because “drain the swamp” would have resonated with him, and he loves seeing unnecessary government divisions crumble from the inside.

Guy Gardner (one of Earth’s Green Lanterns, from the DC comics universe). Conservative, bully-ish, hot-headed, frequently jingoistic.

Hell, Hal Jordan would probably vote for Trump as well. I mean there was a reason he was paired with the very liberal Green Arrow for a while.

pretty much everyone on the Sopranos would be Trumpers. Maybe Meadow would not be, she seemed somewhat liberal when she was working in the legal clinic to help poor people.

You think Ned Flanders would be able to look past all of the nasty shit?

Hmm…that’s a good one to ponder. It’d be a good plot for an episode! (If they do plots anymore)

The biggest battle I saw on Twitter over this was when some suggested Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights would be a Trump voter. But I’d have to say he probably would in the end (going from a Jeb or Rubio primary voter).

Also Barney Stinson, but he may be a villain from a certain perspective.

Berzelius “Buzz” Windrip, from Sinclair Lewis’s novel It Can’t Happen Here.

Interesting, since we’ve only had the one election with trump I’m sure Neddy voted for him. Would he the second time? I’d like to think most definitely not, but I’m not convinced.

Either way, Bart will be 9 years old for both elections.

Holden Caulfield.

Remember, a lot of people voted for Trump, nearly half of all those who voted. So any character who’s the sort who would vote at all, and who’s more conservative than the median, would probably have voted for Trump.

Sauron

Most - but not all - of the Nazgul. One of them, somewhat going against type, votes for Jill Stein

Cruella de Vil

The alien that burst out of John Hurt’s chest.

The child-catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang-Bang

Patrick Bateman

That lot from The Hills Have Eyes

Willy “child-and-workforce-abuser” Wonka

The Emperor Ming

Auric Goldfinger

Grandpa Walton

Buzz Lightyear, but only once, and he regrets it

they are everywhere.

I only posted the ones I was most sure of.

From the same shows I wouldn’t be surprised if Richard Castle voted trump. You make your money as a Democrat, and keep it as a Republican. And he’s “new money”. I bet his mom and daughter did, as well as Ryan and Esposito, Capt gates (but not Capt. Montgomery), and the irish mobsters and every serial killer on the show.

Sherlock can’t vote, of course, but I see Watson as a Dem. Not sure about Bell. Gregson’s daughter? trumper. All the other detectives? trumpers.

Law and Order: I see Stones and Robinette as Dems, Claire (RIP) as a Dem, Jamie as a trump voter, “Hang 'em High” Abby for sure trumper, Serena a hold-your-nose self-hating “am I really a lesbian” trump voter, Borgia (RIP) trump voter, but Rubirosa could be a Dem. Logan and Brisco and Curtis and Profacci and Greevy and Detective Beauty Queen and most definitely Fontana as trumpers. Ed Green I’m not sure. Nora I’m not sure. Probably a trumper.

Criminal Intent: Eames trump for sure, Goren not. It’s why no one on the force likes him, because he probably told everyone how wrong they were for voting trump. Fellaci trump, but Zack and Barek and Wheeler are Dems. Deakins is still a trumper, but Ross was a Dem.

I hate to think the JAGs are all trumpers but even as “liberal” and honorable as they were I bet they all voted trump. Except Mick. Aside from (probably) being dead, he’s also Australian.

I’m sure Trump’s tough guy image would resonate with Tony and his associates, but I suspect a lot of them would actually be non-voters. It’s been a few years since I watched The Sopranos, but most of those guys seemed pretty ignorant of politics and world events, especially Paulie. Tony and Carmela would be likely Trump voters, though.

In The Wire, I’m sure most of the Stevedores Union would vote for Trump; they’d go for his promise to bring back manufacturing jobs. Especially Frank Sobotka, if he hadn’t died. Of the Baltimore police Major Valchek seems the most likely to vote for Trump, despite how cozy he is with the city’s Democratic government. He seems like the law and order, traditional values type.
