To prevent the existing thread from being further hijacked, I decided to start this one.
We need to organize for the June 1 game start. We can’t let a gang like onelifetolive mess with our heads again. So here are my thoughts, and they apply both to Pimpwar and to Redlite.
There are too many of us to form one cartel. Hence we should organize based on online availability. Essentially, a Straightdope Day Watch and a Straight Dope Night Watch. This way the cartels can apportion resources immediately during the periods of peak activity.
Second, we need to select leaders. I think nomination and a quick acclaimation will be sufficient. If you want to wait to see who performs the best, that would also be acceptable.
But we need to get our rosters worked out so we can start the next fight with our eyes open and our AKs loaded.

Not a bad idea on the whole daytime/nightime thing. I’m on Redlite: Philly, PDT zone. Also gonna try to sign up for the next Pimpwar game, if they’ll ever start accepting new signups again.
An egroups circle might help too, for those times when the board is running sloooowwwww.
Overall, I’m on during the days.

I am also in Philly, EST, daytime. I’d love to play Pimpwar, but somehow I doubt that’s gonna happen.

A Redlite Philly EST night playa here. Don’t want leadership of cartel, spend too much time on the game already. Want to do PimpWar but afraid it will suck too much of my time away so I’m holding back.
Comin’ atcha from NYC on Pimpwar. I’m usually on nights, but I check in every so often during the day. I don’t want to head an alliance, but I follow instructions

So here is what I am thinking as well. Each day person will be paired with one night person. You know, for the usual backwatching stuff. Everyone should check off the email notification box in his profile and set the email address to be the egroup. This way, any time someone is attacked, we will know immediately.
When enough people check in, we will set up the rosters next week.
