Pissed off at Firefox

It won’t let me access my favorite webcomic.

Suggestions?

It’s probably your favorite webcomic’s fault, and not Firefox.

Yeah, looks like it’s your comic, it goes on like this until I kill the process:

The Tier 1 tech support guy hiding in the back of my mind wonders whether or not you’ve tried Chrome. Or shudder Internet Explorer. But given that it sounds like it’s blowing up spectacularly rather than not loading, it’s probably not the browser.

I tried with Microsoft Edge and IE, neither worked. Pretty sure Firefox isn’t the problem.

Just tried it using Safari on a MacBook. Doesn’t work. Error message suggests an infinite re-direct. That is typically a blunder on the part of web site, and will be fixed quickly when they learn that nobody can read their works of art any more.

How long has this been happening? If it just started, simply try again tomorrow and see if they’re onto it.

What is the name of the webcomic?

Chrome on my iPad can’t access it either, I get a “too many redirects” error.

Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic. Thus the “yafgc” in the link.

They appear to have fixed it.

Either that or it works fine on Safari on a Mac and your hatred for Firefox is well-placed after all :stuck_out_tongue:

For anyone clicking at work, this link is NSFW and should be two-click or a broken link.

Jeez.

I’ve had errors like that on my website when I’ve changed hosting companies or update domain forwarding settings. It seems like during the that transition while new IP address is propagating, things can behave in really unexpected ways.

ETA, checking their whois data, it looks like some type of change was made today. The page is working fine for me, but if it’s just some DNS type issues, it’ll probably be fine for everyone within 24 hours.

[Moderating]
I broke the link in the OP, as the comic it links to contains some mild nudity.

But not the one in post #11, yanno, the one with a warning below it.

I got to the game late, unbroke the link, tried it successfully, and came here to abuse everyone that didn’t notice the obviously broken link…until I got to your post.

Do I have to go to ATMB to whine about you ruining my day of glory?

Problem fixed, all on it’s own.
{SHRUGS}

Thanks for introducing me to this web comic. I’ve been binging on it. That artwork is amazing.

Same. It’s playing hell with my productivity around the house. On the positive side, I’ve only got another five hundred or so to go.

Now, there’s no reason to denigrate the work of the person who fixed the website’s configuration issues. Those things don’t fix themselves.

Works fine. Have you tried loading it with add-ons disabled?
