Not a criticism – in fact, sort of a compliment, but it belongs in the Pit as a critique of a Mod action:
I believe that Giraffe deserves an award for the Pithiest Moderator Action for this post closing a thread. (See the OP there for why that was singularly appropriate.)
I know giraffes are noted for rarely making vocal calls, but geez!
