Can some Doper tell me what Clint Eastwood film this was in? Is it a real song? And, why does every DJ have to see this movie?

Hey, maybe that was the movie’s title…? When did this come out. I must have missed it. You see, in all the confusion I plumb forget. I guess I don’t feel too lucky, punk!

It was “Play Misty For Me” and the song title is “Misty”.
It was 1971 I think. It deals with a listener who encroaches too far into the dj’s life, knowing that a special connection exists between them.

This was the title of an Eastwood film in which he is a DJ stalked by a female listener who always calls and makes this request. Never seen it myself, but it’s a fairly well known movie.
