At :22 there’s a percussion instrument, sounds like a harpsichord-- is that what it is? And then some weird kind of drum kicks in shortly afterwards- what’s that?
The instrument at :22 is meant to replicate a harpsichord, but it’s almost certainly an electronic keyboard rather than an actual harpsichord.
The percussion instruments right after that sound like tuned conga drums of some sort, or perhaps tablas (Indian drums).

Sure sounds like a harpsichord to me. (I don’t think it’s electronic, especially given the date of the recording.)
Actually, now that I think of it, the time period doesn’t it rule out being something like a Cembalet or Clavinet. I’m trying to think what electric/electronic instrument of that era might have a sound that close to a harpsichord. The sound is pretty full and lush, which makes me think acoustic harpsichord.
