Do you think hats make a person more or less attractive?
It depends not only on the hat, but also the person. Some people look terrible in all hats, even ones that don’t look like this.
On the other hand, there’s something like this.

I think that jock-y type men can look good in baseball caps (bill facing forward).
Not a huge fan of any other kind of hat, though.

I like to think I look good in a hat. On women, it just depends.

I have a friend who looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous in hats. It’s a shame she wasn’t born in an age when women wore them more often. There’s something about her face that looks incredible when topped by a hat. She has really strong cheekbones and a wide jaw. Without a hat, she’s pretty but a bit harsh looking. In a hat, she looks like a 40’s movie star.
Me? I look like a dork in them.
It obviously depends on the hat and the woman, but more often than not, I find it to be a big turn on.

A guy sporting a douche hat is always less attractive to me, but since it’s usually on young guys, it’s kind of moot. My husband in a ball cap looks good, though.
Depends, but trilbies would put me off because they’re so, so passé. And if someone always wears a hat - especially the same hat - it looks a little pretentious.
I think it’s a wash, actually. Really goofy hats can make someone look ridiculous, but some hats sort of break even in effect, & some hats are lot more striking than just hair would be.
Agreed. I will add that a proper hat (and not a cap) is more likely to be neutral at worst on a woman, though. The only exception is if it completely hides the hair, and their hair is an important feminine feature for her.
I agree with this completely. And it seems like the guys who wear fedoras are always a specific type of guy which I find particularly irritating.
OTOH, it is a handy douche marker.
