Dating for seven weeks and five days before he spoke the imperative statement, “Marry me.” I said, “Ok.”

A. We had known each other for a bit over 6 years, but never dated as such, since we never lived closer than 600 miles apart.
B. 26. She was 25.
A) We started seeing each other about two and a half years before deciding to get married. The wedding came about two months after the decision to get married.
B) I was 35, my wife was 40.
A) Dated 3 years, 2 of which were long distance, before the engagement, 12 months engaged, we were married 11 days ago.
Lived together in the same city for 3 months before moving in together, lived together for 9 months before the proposal and 12 months afterwards.
We were married a month and 3 days after the 4th anniversary of our first date.
Pretty much knew we were meant to be together from the first date (love at first sight, yada yada).
B) He is 24 (20 when we met), I am 23 (19 when we met).
a) 17 years
b) 35- both of us
Married almost two years. Hey, I’m a newlywed!
We dated for over 4 years before getting engaged. We spent the first 2 years doing the long distance thing (which was pretty crappy) and the other 2+ years living in SIN. We got married about 10 months after getting engaged (May 2005). I’m 28 and she was 27 (28 now).
We met our first year in college. Started going out right after I turned 19 and she was 18.
Exclusively dated all through college. We got engaged over Christmas break our senior year. We were 23.
Married at 26 after living together for 2 years after school.
So I guess 4-5 years of dating before engagement but that’s skewed by college. Married once we were certain we could afford it etc.
I recently got engaged. I was 23 when we met and started seeing each other, he was 22.
A) a few months short of 6 years
B) will be 30 by the time we’re married.
Mrs. V. and I met on a college semester abroad in the fall of '85, and became friends at the time, but nothing more. When we came back to campus in the spring of '86, I met and then lost a girlfriend, a senior, when she graduated. The next year, the future Mrs. V. and I were seniors, and our relationship deepened; soon we dated each other exclusively. When we graduated in May '87, we had a long-distance relationship for about two years (she was in Vermont, I was still in Ohio, which was no fun at all). We moved in together when I started law school in Sept. '89. I popped the question on her birthday in March '90, and we married in Aug. '90.
So, we knew each other for five years, and dated about four, at the time of our wedding. Fifteen years and three sons later, we couldn’t be happier.
I’m six months older than her, but we were both 25 when we married.
dated for 5 years, engaged for 3.
got married at 28, 3 months ago. (she was and is 27)
We were friends for 6 years before we started dating (met in high school). Dated for about 9 months before moving in together. Lived together 6 years before we decided to get married. Engagement was about a year.
I was 28 when we got married, Mr. m was 29. We just celebrated our 7th anniversary last week.
A) 4 years, including two break-ups totalling to about 1 year
B) 33
