Pepsi. Though I’ve stopped drinking cola, and I miss it. So I chose ‘other’.
I drink it almost exclusively. Cherry Coke Zero is my favorite thing, EVAR.
Way I heard it was the other way around. The formulated Diet Coke when New Coke came out, and never changed it. Coke Zero is based off of Coke Classic.
Squirt. I like all grapefruit sodas, but Squirt is the fizziest.
Seriously, add Mountain Dew.
It’s the 4th most popular soft drink, behind only Coca-cola, Pepsi, and Diet Coke.

all diet drinks that use SPLENDA only.
Coke all the way, baby!
I’ve pretty much stopped drinking soda, but on occasion I still partake in my beloved favorite, especially Mexican Coke in a glass bottle. Yum!
Pepsi drinkers- die, die, die!
Diet Dr Pepper is great. The cherry version of it might be the best soda ever.
I like all sorts of sugar-free soda. My favorites are Coke Zero, Sprite Zero (as they call Diet Sprite now), diet root beer, diet ginger ale, and Fresca.
I don’t like the way sugary soda makes me feel. I can’t put my finger on it, but all that raw sugar makes me feel “off”. I prefer the texture of sugar-free soda, too; sugary soda feels sticky in comparison.
Coke, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper are my favourites.
Where are you getting Tab? I haven’t seen Tab in more than 20 years!
Coke and Dr Pepper for me!
My choices, in order of preference:
Coke Zero
Diet Dr Pepper
Diet Coke
IceD tea - w/Splenda
Diet 7-up
Pepsi is that greatest of all, but since I hate Diet Pepsi and I’m trying to cut down on my sugar intake, I only have a real Pepsi about once a month.
On a daily basis, I drink a rotation of Diet Cherry 7-Up (so so good), Diet Sierra Mist, and Diet Twist Up (Walmart brand and only $0.66 per 2-liter). I like the Twist Up as good or better than the national brand clear lemon-lime sodas.
I also make a half and half concoction of V8 Fusion and Diet Sierra Mist or Diet Twist Up that tastes like a fancy punch. I get a full serving of fruit and vegetables and quench my thirst at the same time.
Not on the list, but there is a Jamaican grapefruit flavored soda called Ting which is very refreshing. Great with rum, too…TRM
They still sell 12 packs of it in Michigan at most stores.
I’m a Coke Zero addict. I’ve had two cans of it today - I won’t allow myself more than that (too much caffeine makes it hard for me to sleep, and it gets expensive), but I downright crave the stuff. I like other colas as well, generally Coke more than Pepsi with the various generics/store brands falling between the two, but I’ll spend the extra money on Coke Zero anyways. I get sad when we run out and I have to go without for a day.
My other drink addiction is milk. I probably drink about 8 litres a week, at least.
You and me both. Unfortunately, we may have been the only two people who bought it.
For the poll, I voted Coke (the brownest of the brown sodas). I like it in all forms, including Diet Coke, Coke Zero, and Cherry Coke, but I prefer just plain, basic Coke.
Also, though I try not to drink too much soda in general (one can or bottle a day, if that), I’m a big fan of root beer.
Pepsi Throwback and root beer are my soft drinks of choice.
I used to like Coke with Lime and Pepsi w/ Lime, but those were discontinued. At least they still make Vanilla Coke.
My preference is Diet Cherry or Vanilla, Coke or Pepsi. The brand doesn’t matter to me, as long as it’s one of the major brands. If I can’t find either of those, some diet lemon-lime, like Sprite, Sierra Mist, etc. Next in line would be diet root beer. Withe the lemon-lime or the root beer, generic is fine.
If I had to pick just one, it’d be either root beer or Vernor’s.
Although I no longer drink sodas on a regular basis, I voted for Pepsi and other. I didn’t see your disclaimer about regional sodas until post #38, so fooey to youie.
My ‘other’ is Big Red. Somebody early up said strawberry sodas, but this stuff is like strawberry ambrosia bubble gum. Maybe too sweet for some, but I used to drink this stuff like it was going out of style in Texas. I’ve never seen it anywhere else.
