You are living in a future Orwellian right-wing dystopic regime. Some government researcher has invented a lie-detector machine that is somewhat more accurate than polygraphs - although only about 80%. The regime announces that all citizens will be tested for ‘true patriotism’ and loyalty to The Glorious And Greatest-Ever Leader, Donald J. Trump. Any citizens who fail to register an adequate level of love for Trump, or who register high feelings of revulsion towards Trump, will face unspecified “consequences.” In the interest of reducing the workload of the regime’s psychology bureau, however, citizens who pass the test will never be required to take it again - this isn’t an annual thing.

You are hooked up to the machine and told that you did not pass. Regime officials decide, however, to give you one more try - you will be put in solitary confinement and given 7 days to work up the appropriate feelings for Trump, after which you will be administered the lie-detector test for the second and final time.
