Would you ever go on a City Slickers-type “fantasy cowboy” vacation?
  • I have gone on a “fantasy cowboy” vacation, and I would go again!
  • I have gone on a “fantasy cowboy” vacation, and I would not go again.
  • I’d be interested in that.
  • I’d be interested if friends were already going.
  • I’d be interested, if it were free or very modestly priced.
  • Not that, but I’d be interested in some other type of “fantasy adventure” vacation.
  • Maybe if I were younger.
  • No, I have no interest in spending my vacation pretending to do someone else’s job.

I have obtained a Dutch oven and would like to attempt deep frying in it. What should I make?

  • Southern style chicken sandwich
  • Fish and chips
  • Calabash style* seafood and hushpuppies
  • I have suggested something else in the discussion thread

*A regional style from the Carolinas, seafood lightly breaded in cornmeal and deep fried. The batter is thinner than a typical fish and chips batter.

Congratulations! You’ve just won free passage on the maiden voyage of the Titanic II, to be completed [TBA]. Are you going?
  • Sure, why not? I trust it’s being built according to all modern design and safety regulations.
  • I’d like to trade them in for tickets on the second voyage, if possible. Just in case.
  • No way I’m getting on that thing.
  • No. I just don’t like cruises/boats.

  • I eat very fast. I’m usually finished eating long before everyone else.
  • I usually finish eating a bit before everyone else.
  • I usually finish eating about the same time as most other people at the table.
  • I usually finish eating a bit after most other people at the table.
  • I eat glacially slow. I’m usually still eating after everyone else is done. I’ve been kicked out of restaurants who wanted to close, but for me.

Which modern-era presidency are you the most nostalgic for? (Not necessarily the presidency itself, but the era as well. You can like an era without liking the president. Leaving Trump and Biden out because they’re too recent.)

  • Johnson
  • Nixon

  • Carter
  • Reagan
  • Bush Sr.

You’re cooking a dish whose recipe calls for two teaspoons of salt. After you measure out the salt, what do you do with the measuring spoon?

  • The spoon is dirty. Put it in the dishwasher or sink to be washed (or at least rinsed).
  • It’s just salt. Wipe the spoon off and put it back in the drawer (or wherever you keep clean spoons) to be used again.
  • I don’t use measuring spoons.
  • Something else.

Last night someone ran onto the field during the Super Bowl. The man was wearing pants but not shirt. Some commentators on the internet are calling him a streaker, but others are arguing that one must be nude to be called a streaker. What do you think?

  • A streaker must be completely naked or only wearing things like footwear or a mask.
  • A streaker must be shirtless at least, but can wear pants or shorts.
  • A streaker can be fully clothed.
