I went to bed last night and awoke this morning 7 hours later. I really wish I could have slept longer. I may take a nap later but the best rest is continuous sleep IME. How many hours straight can you go?
When you see a poll like the one @squeegee posted, and it has overlaps (0-3 and 3-5 are choices…what if your answer is 3? It fits both) what do you do?
There were two major mass shootings in the United States in May 2022; one at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York on May 14 and one at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas on May 24. A great deal more public attention is currently being given to the Uvalde shooting because:
I disagree with the premise. I feel the two shootings are receiving proportional attention.
Chronology. The Uvalde shooting occurred after the Buffalo shooting and eclipsed it.
Most of the victims in Uvalde were young children and this focused more attention on that shooting.
Public attention moves on quickly. People would have stopped talking about the Buffalo shooting after two weeks even if there hadn’t been another shooting.
The number of casualties was greater in Uvalde. Twenty-two people versus ten.
San Antonio is a much larger media market than Buffalo.
The issue of the police response in Uvalde makes that shooting more newsworthy.
The media would rather talk about a Hispanic shooter who was crazy than a white shooter committing hate crimes.
What do you mean two mass shootings? There have been fifty-six mass shootings in May 2002.
A company you like has come up with a new way to advertise: paying people to have 3" wide permanent tattoos applied to the back of one of their hands.
Do note that as part of this promotion’s legal stipulations tattoo-ees would be monitored and sued for a portion of their payment back if they decided to remove the tattoo while the business continues to exist.
How much is the minimum you’d accept to be tattooed?
$1000
$5000
$10000
$15000
$25000
$50000
$100000
$500000
I wouldn’t for any amount of money

Same deal as above, but you really don’t like the company making the offer.
It’s called skinvertising. This article says: “Jim is the first skinvertiser, back in 2003 when CI Host, a large Texas-based hosting company, paid him $7,000 to have their logo tattooed on the back of his head for a contract of five years.”
