Monty, I need to say a word in Dewaholic’s defense – the “Chip” to whom she refers is my boss (and her ex-boss) – and the resemblance is quite real, though I hadn’t thought of it in quite that way until she said it. He is a quite interesting person but a challenge to work for, and her judgment is not unreasonable on this. And I am 100% certain, given that she was referring to my work conditions impeding my SDMB situation, that he was the Chip to whom she referred.
