Poopy shoes in the MMP

:D:D:D:D

Gotta start somewhere.

Wait ----- I just may be one of those. Maybe my Bishop? Naah – he already has gray hairs from me. I’ll work on the idea and get back to you.

(I’m thinking the $50 level or just really being true to the event and staying home and watching television.)

And days when it isn’t so good come around here and vent. You are much loved and appreciated around these parts.

Popping in quickly to say that I came back from the mountains and I am on the way to Alaska. I stopped on my way North to trade in the Suburban for a newish Ford Expedition. The Suburban was making impolite noises. It was time to part ways.

Tomorrow we get on a big boat and go for a ride. I intend to eat too much, drink too much, and look a pretty scenery.

Also - have a wonderful week everyone!!!

I was just cruising late night TV and saw part of an old episode of Lost in Space. There was a young teen who was supposed to be undergoing some kind of hunt, or manhood ritual. I kept looking at him thinking “I know that guy, who is he?” Finally figured it out in a real OMG moment. “It’s Kurt Russell!” I thought. Jeez, it’s hard to remember back that far. I used to love LOS when I was a kid.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out and partly cloudy (well, dark) with a predicted high of 89 (BRRR!) and a sixty percent chance of rain/tstorms/apocalypse. We shall see. The plan of the day is to deheathenate, I am first non-cannibal kind of Lector. This means I also get to lead in the readin’ of the Psalm. ‘Tis Summer and durin’ Summer we read as opposed to chant the Psalm. Apparently Summertime means slack time for Whiskypalians. N.O.L. shall be grilled chikin 'n sallit. Sloth to ensue afterwards.

Ruble a whole .5K? Are you sure you have enough time to train for such a gruelin’ course?

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy is hungry. Purtification for deheathenization must also commence.

ETA: CupCakes when sump’n goes wrong I have a tendency to say “Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!”

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Happy Sunday!

It’s supposed to rain today.

I woke at 4 and haven’t done anything but sit.

Nothing special to do today.
There are always unspecial things to do, like laundry and cleaning the bathtub.
It’s take out the trash day, which means it is also clean the fridge day.
My new chair is supposed to be delivered today.

Have fun Sunny!

I’ve been up for about 3 hours. I spent the first awake hour playing on my tablet, but I had to get up and tend to Higgs. Then **FCD **and I showered and went for a McBreakfast. He’s back in the basement working on his design and I’m doing my morning surf-n-read before cleaning the last couple of areas of carpet. It’s a little overcast, but, alas, no rain is in the forecast except for a slight possibility tonight and 50-50 chance on Tuesday. We really really need some precip!!

Mostly, tho, my plans for today are full-on slothage.

Happy Sunday!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today. Gordie has already fended off 2 assaults by The Invisible Mole People. I’m cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming after walk time.

Enjoy the trip, Sunny.

baker, when my dad used to drop us kids off at the Saturday matinee, Kurt Russell was frequently in any non-animated Disney features.

It’s storming as we speak. Even Nelson got a rain slicker put on him when we stepped outside. He figured out a long time ago that when that went on, he was still expected to go number one outside, even though I’m not mean enough to keep him out longer than that. As soon as KP is done, I’m headed to the Boro to have coffee with the Freethinker group there.

I finally got around to cleaning the poopy shoes that inspired this thread. They’re sitting in shallow dishes full of water to loosen the residual poo. I knew you were all worried about my shoes.

Sloth mode today. I felt pretty good yesterday so overdid it. This sinus infection is wiping me out, plus I’ve been getting up early to watch tennis. Visited Ariel yesterday. She is fine and muddy, and probably thinking she’s on vacation since I haven’t ridden since Tuesday. Yesterday I splurged and bought center cut bacon for BLTs. Yummy sandwich. Today is sunny with a predicted high of 85.

Morning all. Laid down to take a nap yesterday about 5pm and slept to 10pm. Got up and puttered about until 1am, then went back to bed until 7am today. So I should not be short of sleep…

There are rumblings of thunder outside and the radar shows a storm about 15 miles west of me, so hopefully Mother nature will be taking care of watering the lawn. Finishing up my raisin toast for breakfast, and then need to run the dishwasher and do some other kitchen cleanup.

Sunny, heading North to Alaska then? Enjoy.

FCM, hope the shoes are salvageable.

**MetalMouse **- luckily, it’s just the soles that were affected, but because they’re Skechers, the soles are not smooth and easy to clean. Once the last of the poo is softened enough, I can take a brush to them and that will be that.

The moral of the story is - don’t walk into the wooded area on the side of our house - that’s where one or the other dog poops.

That’s why I’m thinking of the option for having someone drive me the grueling length of the course and bribing him/her to floor it. I have to save my energy for sorting those perfect packages.

Why is it from me almost anything I say sounds dirty?
The concert was fantastic as usual. Several people around us were first-timers and as good as the show is, watching the people watch the show is even better. Nailed a ton of bugs in Indiana with the car and will need to hit the whole front end with Bug Release before I hose it down but the 700+ miles and the money was well spent. Tipton is a great little town and the Tiptonians cool people and we even cruised through Thorntown although that place is showing the hard times around the region – more businesses closed in just the last year. But I did score a couple more meat cleavers so I’m satisfied.

Back from dishwashing. Did indeed melt. It’s not really hot by most of y’all’s standards, but we’re not geared up for several weeks of dry, and our houses are built to keep heat in, not out. The forecast is finally for a decent bit of rain tomorrow, I’m looking forward to it.

Another night of insomnia. It’ll get worse when the renovators come back and start their work early in the morning.
sigh

Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated (Did the Judas Walk, i.e. left as soon as we took Communion), have et N.O.L., and now chill mode ensues. Looks like some tstorms in the area so that may happen this afternoon. Bring it on, I say!

Ruble that’s just the way of us who have prurient minds.

OK then, I’ll just talk to myself.

We got our neighbor’s and our biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash cans hauled all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow just ahead of a big tboomer, which is happenin’ as I post. Go Us! Neighbor is out of town and we are nice, dammit.
