Thank you for confirming that President Obama never said, “I don’t need Congress.” So all your conclusions based on that “quote” have now collapsed.
President Obama needs Congress to pass legislation. When they refuse, he has limited power through executive orders to partially implement his policies on a short term basis. Nothing the President has done violates the constitution, nor intrudes on the power of Congress to pass legislation.
Near as I can tell, on CrazyObsessedipter “not just” is the same as “fuck off I don’t need you anymore”.

One article is not confirmation that he has never said the exact words, “I don’t need Congress”. That is yet to be determined (I’ll keep looking. 
) Obama has made it clear that he doesn’t require legislation to advance his agenda.
I heard this morning that there are now 24 States, up from the original 18, suing Obama for his executive actions concerning immigration reform. The courts will decide if Obama has done anything that violates the Constitution or intrudes on the power of Congress.
No more bonkers than wondering if the President will “decide” to give the SOTU address to Congress in person.
That is redonkulous. He has bent over backwards to get legislation through the House, and they have slammed the door in his face at every turn. Boehner is being controlled by a faction will not accept any legislation from the president that could be construed as a even a minor victory. The Tea Party is monomaniacal about depriving President Obama of any positive talking points, and they are willing to damage the country to achieve that.
The President has a choice as to where he gives the SOTU address.

Gone? That would imply that he has changed. doorhinge has always been “special.” His arguments are just as logical and correct as they’ve always been.

I apologize about putting the uncomfortable idea of covering yourself with honey into your mind. I wouldn’t want you to think about frolicking gaily, naked, in the streets, dripping honey, caressing the cheek of every passer-by with laughter.
