It’s a terrible story, not my own, but I was doing some, um, light reading today. Basically it’s a giant compound city with 6,000 trafficked victims who are held captive and forced to run Internet crypto scams. My general feeling is that Cambodia should be avoided at all costs, but if you must go there, for the love of God, avoid the slave city.
Take in some live music now and then. You and musicians - win, win.
When tear gas grenades are thrown into a crowd you’re in, move towards the grenades and then stand next to them. It’ll feel really bad but everyone else will be running away from the grenades so it’s the place where you’re least likely to be injured.
