2200 - check rooms
2230 - check rooms/ lights out for older kids
2300 - check rooms/ clean unit fridge
2330 - check rooms/ vacuum unit
2400 - check rooms
0030 - check rooms/ type three day pass down
0100 - check rooms/ type three day pass down
0130 - continue to check rooms on 30 minute untervals until
0700 - check rooms/ give pass down to oncoming shift supervisor
0730 - leave unit, head for home

On Sunday - Tuesday, the schedule continues with:

0730 - leave unit, head for job at college
0745 - 0800 try to find parking at college
0830 - drive friend’s kids to school as he preps for his class
0900 - return to campus, work on class prep/set design work on computer*
1000 - work on set or theatre maintenance in Production Workshop
1100 - head for home.

Thursday, Friday -

0630 - head for campus job (no fight for parking!)
0645 - research and class prep
0830 - drive friend’s kids to school as he preps for his class
0900 - return to campus, work on class prep/set design work on computer*
1000 - work on set or theatre maintenance in Production Workshop
1100 - head for home.

I’m going for a double major in music composition and Spanish, but I’m in a program that lets me pretty much take whatever I want as long as I’m serious about it (that explains the French.)

Commute to Work.
Work.
Commute Home.

1730 - 2200:
Recover. Eat. Stare mindlessly at the television.

2200-0430:
Sleep.

Rinse. Repeat.

Death.

Man, this working for a living sucks.

Jeez… Now that I think about it, tomorrow’s going to be pretty busy.

First two classes are over something we call the GenNET system. I sit in my school and watch the teacher live at another school teach the class. And since my school only has six hours in a day, that AP English class will be after school/on a Saturday.

Oh, and I’m a college sophomore; English major. I’m going into sophomore year with about half my English credits already under my belt, hence the basic requirements being taken care of now.

Times are approximate:

6:30 - 9:30 Get out of bed. Shower, etc.

7:00 - 10:00 Go to breakfast. Eat, read book, bs with waitresses that I know all by name.

8:00 - 11:00 Go home. Poo-poo big and read book. Work on my book at bit, or not, whatever.

9:00 - 12:00 Get on bike and tool on over to friends house. Hang out in garage which is his office. Talk about our next road trip. Drink coffee.

11:00 - 1:00 If I got some chores and feel like doing them, I do them. If I don’t - fuck’m, they’ll still be there tomorrow.

12:00 - 2:00 Check email, write on book (assuming I’m in the mood), polish chrome on bike, drink beer/wine

1:00 - 3:00 bs with neighbors. Wander out back and consider getting someone to come over and take a look a the sagging fence. Hang out, take care of odds and ends, assuming I’m in the mood.

3:00 - 5:00 Go to library, read the free magazines.

4:00 - 6:00 Wife comes home from work. We talk about dinner. Maybe grill some steaks, pull the cork on a jug.

6:00 - 9:00 Hang out with Ms Hook.

10:00 - 12:00 Go to bed. Maybe do the, “Wild Thing.” Read a while.
I tell you the days are just full.

And I would like to think all you little (future and present) worker bees for making it possible.

3:00 am (or whenever SD goes down for maintenance) - 11:00 a.m. : Sleep

11:00 am - 4:00 pm: Greg, Marilyn, Joe, Larry, Mabelyne, and Judy. Then turn off TV judge shows.

4:00 pm - 7:00 pm: shower, clean house, microwave, eat, exercise, shop, pay bills, nap, volunteer work, read, meditation, quality minute with husband, practice piano, needlepoint, drawing, decorating, sewing, harass former students, feed cat if she’s been good.

7:00 pm - 11:00 pm: I can never remember, but I think it has to do with the optic nerve.
