But yeah, the fucking post signers really get up my nose. I have sigs turned off precisely because I can’t NOT read words on a page and I get annoyed at getting ganked into reading some retarded signature YET AGAIN because it’s always there. Yes, hanging out on DailyKos does cause me stress–at least most of the sigs there are in italic, which for some reason is easier to ignore. But I digress. The point is that replacing something which CAN be deleted from the preferences of readers with something that CAN’T be deleted is kind of a low level, passive aggressive dick move. Maybe it’s just me–but looking around I don’t think I am. Is there any reason WHY the signatures CAN’T be put into the sig line? Really?
I fully expect that if Carol Stream were forced at gunpoint to write more than three complex sentences in a row it would be a boat race whether she’d get a bullet in the skull or spontaneously have the purulent thing simply explode on its own, a victim of overamping. The sentence total can be reduced by one if you stipulate the sentences convey a positive and upbeat message.
