Power: A Woman's Gaze

I’ve got it. Yeah, I’m careful with it…most times.

Not so much the look, but the occasional question from my wife is enough to induce catatonia— e.g., “which of these belts do you think looks better?”

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm…

Hmm, I hadn’t thought of the questions - “Where would you like to go for dinner?” “Uhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm…”

“Uhhmm, IS NOT AN ANSWER!!”

/oblig.

I’ve got it. I try to use it judiciously. It’s typically sexual in nature, but not always. And it doesn’t work with everyone, but it does work with most, even women.

I started a thread about it a long time ago, too lazy to find it at the moment.

Maybe because I don’t have a huge rack, the eyes are more compelling? Strong personality as well.

I was in Target one day. A young mother was pushing her child in a stroller in the aisle coming in my direction. The kid was crying, yelling his head off and generally carrying on. I could tell the mother was exasperated. I honed in on the child and gave him “the look”. The kid locked eyes with me and shut up immediately.

As we passed each other, the mother whispered to me, “thank you!”.

Yeah… I got it.

I don’t think I’m doing it right… I rarely intentionally make eye contact with people I’m not flirting with, so it clearly telegraphs *my *interest in the fellow - that’s more of a useful tool for him than me.

Now, a winsome smile, on the other hand, can get lots of guys to trip over themselves.

I’m a man and I have a knack for glaring that is usually quite effective.
