Wait, it did? How did it do that?
And what was that “dog suit”? From the neck down, it looked like a guy with dots on him. But the head didn’t look like a mask. It looked like the head of a dog. It was really weird.

The 25th grandson of Jesus had alot of drawings/sketches of the dog suit thing.
This episode was much more true to form -
OK, thanks. I missed that.
a direct desc. of Jesus would be something like 50-60 generations removed. Inbreeding was also implied. Whatever that person was, his DNA barely resembles a Hebrew, let alone a desc. of Jesus.
without debating this too much - its possible that the descendants are ‘longer lived’ than a normal generation as well as waited as ‘long as possible’ before breeding.
The real question is - why would there be any inbreeding required? its not like he would have a sister to impregnate (or a mother) - and there are likely plenty of 'Mary’s to go around.
I didn’t understand the inbreeding part either. Did the mother of each generation need to be related somehow?
I agree that Humperdoo was drawing the dog from the New Orleans place.
In the comic, Jesus had had two kids, a boy and a girl. The inbreeding was to keep the bloodline “Pure”.
I thought I was! But I don’t recognize a word from your post down. Did I miss an episode? Or was I drinking?
Anyway, I figured God was in the dog suit all along.
I’m a few episodes into Season 2 now. I really enjoyed Season 1 and I was sorry to see all the minor characters get blowed up. There were some real gems, and of course Jackie Earle Haley is always a hoot.
Season 2 is okay so far, but I have to say I’m really sick of Jesse and Tulip’s accents. They’re not real, are they? After I post this I’ll look up to she whether they’re faking, but they seem so much of a Yankee’s idea of what a Southerner talks like. It’s really grating.
And … of course … it’s an Englishman and an Irishwoman. No freaking wonder. Ugh. Seriously? There wasn’t anyone with better Texas accents?
I liked the second season better because they focused more on a couple of storylines (looking for God and escaping from Hell) rather than having a bunch of minor subplots about local townsfolk. Jackie Earle Haley was awesome, though.
