Predict how Mitt and Ann will respond to losing

Nice.

What I was aiming at was more that without folks controlling what topics he discusses, and prepping him hard before he speaks, his ignorance and narrow-mindedness will show dramatically.

I’d predict the exact opposite. Without the need to appeal to the right wing base, his intelligence should be a lot more apparent. The guys is no dummy.

Mitt: Now That My Campaign Is Over, I’d Like To Talk To You All About The Church Of Latter-Day Saints

Ann: Oh yeah? You all can eat cake for all I care!

I’d like to see Mitt and Ann unzip their faces to reveal lizard alien faces, then summon their spaceship to take them back to the planet Zolton, where the trees are the right height, just like in Michigan.

Oh you!

You’re just so cute when you talk like that <pinches cheek>

I think that any Republican who tries to work with Obama would be primaried out of existence the next election cycle. There is still more hole to dig before some realize the position they’re in.

I expect that after losing the election, the name Rmny, like the name B*sh, will be one never spoken by Repulbicans, lest their tongues burn with fire and a plague of locusts be released upon the land.

Both will return to their hobbies - shoveling horseshit.

Compared to McCain, how many votes do you figure Romney will get against Obama?

Not so gracious concession speech.

Followed by Pelosi’s retirement announcement and the real Benghazi story.

Confidence in the economy will sky-rocket and the left will try to take credit for the recovery that they will claim was on the verge of taking off anyway.

As for the excuses… I think there is a dif thread for that.

Seriously? It’s been 12 years since the 2000 election and they’re still bitter. Hell, they’re so bitter that some of them even believe the next election (2004) was stolen.

One notable exception that occurred to me without looking anything up is Bob Dole, who has been very active in various efforts to combat world hunger, often working with recently deceased George McGovern.

Some may still be bitter, but on the whole? If Romney wins there will be some wailing and teeth knashing, and even some cries of fraud among some… But you know what will then happen? Most folks and even Democrat politicians will roll up their sleeves and actually work to make the country better.

I highly doubt that a major political figure will say “our single most important goal is to make Romney a one-term president”

I also doubt that congress will be as obstructionist as it has in the past 4 years, if Romney is president.

I’m guessing that Ann will be none too happy about having to return to her former life as a likeness of Diane Sawyer at a low budget wax museum.

I think Mitt will make a lovely concession speech, feel a tiny bit relieved and a lot disappointed, and go back to the private sector where he is at home.

I think Ann will be quiet and probably extremely relieved.

Romney won’t run for anything again. As time passes, he will again show himself to be a very moderate Republican. Ann will be completely out of sight.
If Obama loses, I think he’d make an even more lovely concession speech, be a tiny bit relieved, maybe embarrassed, and quite disappointed.

Michelle would probably be singing an internal hallelujah, while being disappointed for her husband’s sake.

I confidently predict none of this will happen, and that they’ll bow out graciously, as all Presidential losers do.

I love how you folks just don’t realize that the “Benghazi story” is simply a desperate Fox News piece of horseshit that only exists because it’s the only possible thing that FoxNews could find to beat Obama’s foreign relations record with, and it also serves the other purpose of enabling FoxNews to cry “we’re the only one covering this important story, so the Lamestream media is in on the coverup!” The only thing more pathetic are the pathetic people who repeat their bullshit.

In short, it’s a lame conspiracy theory being touted by a biased network in order to get more ratings and pander to the dolts who watch it.

That’s all.

There is no “there” there.

Well… I think the real Benghazi story is that Khaddafi was marching his army toward the city and was going to murder about half the people in it if the rest of the world did not do something. The Europeans wanted a no-fly zone, which would look good but not actually accomplish anything. Obama took initiative to blow up some military hardware, which probably saved tens of thousands of lives.

People still got killed, but it could have been orders of magnitude worse.

Oh, and really I think the Romneys would be polite at the very least if they lost.

How dull can you get?

Dude, this board is the home of Oep’s Law. One must never assume anything.
