I went out to see the aurora borealis --what a let-down. There’s enough light pollution, even in Exurbia, that all I could discern were a couple of ghostly streaks zooming from the northern horizon upwards toward infinity.
Oh, well. At least now I can say I’ve Seen The Northern Lights.™
Where’s BigDaiv wandered off to? He hasn’t visited his haiku thread for a while. Maybe he’s gone off to catch Angua on the rebound?

My youngest cousin’s little girl. And here I am with a head cold, sitting on the computer. 
Well, I sent flowers and talked with her already. I’ll see her tomorrow, if I have to wear a surgical mask!
Mother and daughter are both healthy and happy. Specifics like weight and length to come later.
