Sorry, I was off doing other things at 1:12 AM. And I’ve been busy today, too.
Had a good day today… SPOZ has me on his Subwoofer maling list, so I get the news of gigs / songs / the whole enchilada. (Subwoofer is his band) He sent out a mailinglist email earlier today, and that really cheered me up for some reason. I was half-expecting it, but it was pretty much a pleasant surprise.
Went out later to get birthday presents for my favorite kid David… he turns eight two days before my mumble birthday. (bonus points if you know when that is ) Then I ended up losing track of time at Chapters again… all those books to read, about all these different things. (yes, I love reading!) Bought two word search books for David… knowing his sisters, they’ll do some of them for him. (and take some of the Juicy Fruit gum that I’m also giving him)
Treated myself to dinner at Granville Sushi… it’s Eunice’s fault for mentioning Daimasu Sushi earlier this afternoon. It was a very nice treat, since I didn’t want to eat anything too greasy or anything like that!
Went back to Chapters, which is when I totally lost track of the time reading comic books. But I did buy my brother’s birthday present, a biography of Neil Young. It’s called Shakey, and the author had access to Neil Young and the people around him. (which is pretty open for Neil) Since I get to hold onto it for another two months or so, I’m reading it first. (it did cost me $25, after all)
Went to church and talked to my friends, then went to my brother’s. He may or may not go to Lily and Lee’s wedding tomorrow. (he has a choir rehearsal that he should attend… but he doesn’t want to go)
Here I am, just finished restaining my deck! Oh, my aching back.
