Preferred Method of Deodorant / Anti-Perspirant Application

I’m a woman who is deeply saddened by the decline of roll-on deodorant/anti-perspirant. The only thing I can find in stores anymore is Ban. Every single stick deodorant I’ve ever tried has given me a nasty, itchy/sore rash after 2-3 days’ use.

I get the same rash from using stick deodorant as well. Thankfully, I have used Ban most of my life and like it just fine.

Does anyone who voted roll-on have appreciable armpit hair? Because the couple times I’ve tried one mine gets tugged unpleasantly.

Plenty of pit hair, here. Tugging varies greatly across brands, I’ve found. Nivea roll-on works great for me, but thuthfully, I don’t know if it’s available in the US. Never seen it there when I was looking.

Gel for me, because of OCDness. With a stick I don’t know when to stop; with gel I can measure out a given amount and when it’s on, I’m done.

Ban is OK, but Dove used to make an unscented roll-on that left my underarm skin really soft. I miss that.
