Think it was $3.64 this morning - Palatine Road and Plum Grove Road in NW Suburbs.
About $2.00 a gallon. The detour to Azerbaijan might not make this a particularly good deal.
About $1 a gallon here in Bahrain. I think it’s about $0.70 a gallon across the causeway in Saudi!

If crude is going for $112(US) a barrel on the world market, how can they sell gas so cheap?

My guess is that those oil-producing countries in the Middle East have a government subsidy on petrol sold locally, Why they would do that, I don’t now – perhaps just to keep people happy.
It just hit CAD 1.20/litre (USD 4.56/US gallon) here this morning. And on Monday it looks like we’re going to have a transit strike. Yay.
We have the highest gas prices in the state. (Probably because of those bloody Canadians coming down here to get a relatively cheap fill-up while they’re here!
)
$3.739 at the less-expensive place where I fill up. Cheaper at Arco, but I use a credit card so I don’t go there.

Hehehe…just got 310 miles out of 10.5 gallons of gas in my Jetta. I just put 40 bucks in @ 3.17/gallon.
A ten cent increase in the same week.

$3.45 for regular here in central FL. My teensy little hybrid is just looking smarter and smarter… ![]()

When I can afford it, I’m replacing my 20mpg/hwy mini land yacht with something smaller with better gas mileage. Maybe note a hybrid, but definitely something with at least 32mpg/hwy or better. Around my area of central FL, it’s closer to $3.35, but it’s still a pain to fill up the tank every few weeks. Thank Og I live close to work.

Blame Canada for high gasoline prices

Well, sure, it’s easy for those folks out on the west coast to [del]hop over the fence[/del] drive through a border checkpoint to enter the Land of Cheap Gasoline. But here in Ontario, it’s a water border with a limited number of traffic-choked bridges or tunnels unless you want to drive hundreds or thousands of kilometres out of your way. Which kind of eats up the savings.
Las Vegas, NV (Wednesday April 16th)
$3.29 Costco gas on Decatur & the 215
$3.54 Shell station on Aliante Pkwy & the 215
Friends of our just came back from Venezuela where they were visiting her parents. She said due to government subsidies gas was $0.12 a gallon. I still don’t want to live there though.
Laguna Niguel, CA, April 18, 2008
Costco on Cabot Rd- $3.95 for premium
Chevron two blocks away- $4.09 for premium
It’s about 3.50 for regular here in DFW today
I paid $3.15 on Sunday. It’s now $3.30 at the same station.

3.79/gallon, north Los Angeles county. That’s for 87.
It costs an Old Hickory to fill up the bike, now. Premium is over $4.
