Prison Break Season Finale 4/2/07

So…Linc and Sarah are free, Kellerman & Kim are dead (or not), Sucre and his girlfriend are dying or dead, & Bowles, T-Bag, Mahone & Scofield (no surprise there!) are back in Prison.

The absolute best twist was the drugs on the boat. Man o man o man.

I think having T-bag, Bellick, Mahone and Michael all in prison together is going to be great (although we haven’t seen T-bag at Sona yet, I assume he will show up). That last walk through the hall was real nightmare-y.

Hey! Maybe Linc can pretend to rob a bank and get thrown in there to help them break out! We could call it… Escape From Jail!

Who the hell is “Bowles”?

Also among the missing is Sucre’s aunt with whom they were staying. I would be very surprised if Sucre were dead since that would imply that MARICROOOOOOOOOZ was dead, which would mean that the fetus she’s carrying would also be dead and a dead fetus is a rarity on American television.

Another timeframe oddity; it took Michael 24 hours to sail from wherever he was in Panama to wherever Mahone was in Panama? Is Panama so large or its waters so unnavigable? Some of that could I suppose have been Michael buying time but Mahone seemed to accept pretty readily that it would take that long.

I’m interested in the next round of escapes because of the interplay that will result amongst the new grouping of prisoners but I could have lived with there being something else going on behind the scenes other than yet another layer of the shadowy government conspiracy.

Finally, Rest in Peace Agent Kellerman, you magnificant bastard.

Urghhhh! Coffee first, then post. :smack: I mean “Bellick” who has become a fine character.

Could the masked man that the truck carrying Kellermen met actually be one of HIS men? I simply cannot see letting such a good bad guy as Kellerman die.

Yes, I think that scene could go both ways. The show was setting up Kellerman as resigned to his fate, and my guess is that he’s really dead, but it’s definitely not certain.

Paul Adelstein is moving to the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, so I think that was it for our favorite magnificent bastard. Le sigh.

Killed by his own people and sentenced to a Grey’s Anatomy spin-off? Hasn’t the man suffered enough?

I don’t think it actually took him 24 hours to make the trip. I think he wanted to pad in sufficient time for wiggling and trying to figure a way out. It did give him time to go make the deal with the drug lord (I guess it was), and with the kid he met.

I’m still reeling from this episode. I didn’t expect so much to happen so quickly.

So next year, Escape de la Prisión, ¿no?

I’d love to see Kellerman back in the mix, but I also think it would be a bit of a cheat. Now, Sarah & Linc will have to mastermind a plan, and without any of the money! (Unless they decided to go diving & drying)

My wife was really upset about Mahone’s frame-up (she thought it was the end of the character), but having him back in the stir will really make things interesting. And who thinks that there’s a (yet to be announced) 5th character that needs to break out? Why else would the 1WC care so much about Michael getting into SONA except that they knew he’d find a way to break out (and even that’s awfully presumptuous; he did have months of planning, schematics, prearranged set-ups, etc. to pull off Fox River).

Anyway, it should be a lot of fun (though I’m hoping they play down all the lurid latin stereotypes that will be the temptation amongst the guards and fellow prisoners). We’ll see…

Assuming the cops didn’t find it as part of recovering Kim’s body. I’m fine with the money’s being gone. It was largely a MacGuffin, and having $4.5 million at their disposal would make it far too easy on Linc and Sarah. Season 3, epsiode 1, scene 1: Linc and Sarah walk up to the warden and offer him a million dollars to release Michael. Scene 2: Michael walks out of prison.

Well, at least it’s coming back next fall, not next JANUARY a la BSG.

Speaking of time frame oddities - wasn’t Agent Kim in Chicago when he got the call that the brothers would be at the warehouse in Panama - and he arrived about six minutes later?
Maybe he was on the same plane with Sarah, who also seemed to zip right down there in a megasecond and find the right kid and boat and…oh well…

I love the show, and look forward to the new alliances in the new jail and watching yet another season - maybe Michael has some tattoos on other parts of his body we haven’t seen yet.

I don’t think it takes 11 and a half days to fly from Chicago to Panama.

He deserves an Emmy for that performance. One of the best villains ever.

That was Bellicq lying naked on the floor in the corridor, right?

I thought they handled Sucre very well, giving him a patina of machismo.

So what loose ends are there apart from Sucre and Mari-Cruz? C-note? And not showing Kellerman actually dead, as opposed to Mr Kim (good riddance, both the character and actor), means they might try to bring him back. Where’s Linc’s kid?

The epsidoes was good and action packed with lots of twists, but it had a certain feel of being made so it could go either way if the show was renewed or not, wit the possibilites of adding or subtracting a few scenes deppending on where it went.

Was it the same van with different stickers that transported Scofield in Panama and Kellerman in Chicago?

How did Sara hook up with the kid getting the boat? That seemed a bit of a stretch.

I think that Sucre is dead. We don’t really need Sucre anymore at this point. Just like we dont need C-Note.

Sucre is dead. They spent enough time on him dying, and made sure to go for the ‘crucificition’ imagery.
(But then T-bag has a similar scene, behind the jail cell.)

Just me, or is Bellick less and less of a prick now? I mean it is almost as if Bellick has completely changed sides.

I’m interested in the entire “You know he will escape, it’s in his blood.” “That’s exactly what we want him to do.” exchange.

Then again, to get the interplay of those still together will be interesting.

Season 1 beat the pants off of Season 2. They need to layout Season 3 perfectly or I am walking. The show seemed so “Complete” at the end of Season 1. Everything was ‘tight’ (as in well written), and played off of each other.

Kim is dead. They would not show (or even ‘allow’) such a clean shot to the heart if he was still alive. Kim is a middle man, and has been middle management for the entire series. He was a great character, and the actor played him REAL well.

In short, they might have just enough to eke out Season 3. I doubt Season 4 can happen at this point. (Perhaps LJ and his ‘entourage’ get back in the mix.

PrisonBreak is a Good Show. It will Jump the Shark real soon. ((But then 24 is still around…)

I don’t think we’ll see C-Note again. He gets a Happy Ending.

I don’t think they will allow Sucre (and by extension, Maricruz, his aunt, and his unborn baby) to die. More likely, Sucre will work with Linc and Sarah on the outside. After all, it worked great for Veronica and Nick in S1, didn’t it?

Michael will somehow end up having to work with Mahone and Bellick to escape; and will have to avoid being killed by T-Bag “Lefty” McStabsalot. There is probably someone else in Sona that the Company is interested in Michael hooking up with, but we’ll have to wait until Sept to find out.

I sure hope Sucre’s alive. Please let him be alive. If he dies, he has to die in Michael’s arms. Hello, isn’t their forbidden love obvious?

The general’s comment about Michael is interesting. Do they want him to escape so they can recapture him, or are they studying his super abilities? That could get cheesy.

I honestly couldn’t tell if that was Bellick on the floor in the prison hallway.

RIP Kellerman, you adorable but evil lug.

I think Sucre (who’s alive) will assume the responsibility of helping Michael from the outside (with Sarah & Linc), plus he knows Spanish, so that’ll be his hook while they’re working down there.

Yes, and for some reason that scene disturbed me. I don’t get disturbed often, but damn.
