Kara’s collection is lovely and fun, but weren’t there, like, three things that looked just like the thing she wore to the judging this week that they said was more interesting than the dress she made for the competition?[/spoiler]
Yeah, although Santino’s entire collection relies on empire waists. Which he has been pushing all though this season. At least he left off the wickety wack.
Chloe has been my favorite since the ‘clothes off their backs’ challenge, but her collection looks so dull! She didn’t revert to the blue, but those jewel tones just weren’t what I was hoping for. I did think that the navy dress on the pale redhead was fabulous, the geometric back really looks like ‘Chloe’ to me. I can’t wait to see that one in the finale.

I think she didn’t endear herself when she expressed her ambivalence about even wanting to be in the fashion industry. It’s a little like a wunderkind telling a bunch of premeds that she’s not sure whether she’ll attend Harvard Medical School or not because “it’s hard.”
Based on the Fashion Week photos, if Kara had shown that much flair during the competition, she would have been at Fashion Week for real.
Right, but I wonder how long it took her to create her show line. She seemed to have a lot of trouble working under short deadlines. Maybe with more time she’s able to come up with better stuff.
And here’s why I think Santino will win: he’s the ugliest of the contestants. Just as Jay McCarroll was.

I am not at all impressed with Kara’s designs in those photos. It seems like she tried purposely to go completley the oppostie direction of what we’ve seen, but to poor effect. I liked Chloe’s line. Santino’s was alright, but honestly, I think he toned back his creativity too much.

I like Daniel’s collection best, then Chloe’s. I have to admit that Santino’s is better than I expected, but I hate Kara’s.
